Now that the confetti has been swept up and the Cats have left St. Louis with the title, it’s time to turn our attention to the Selection Sunday festivities. Kentucky is probably a No. 5 seed in the NCAA tournament, but could sneak up to a No. 4 spot; however, Hamidou Diallo isn’t worried about that right now. He’s celebrating Kentucky’s victory, and knows it’s more about continuing to play good basketball.
Diallo said, “Right now I’m not even worried about the seed. I’m still trying to celebrate this win here. Tomorrow, I’ll start focusing on that, or whenever it comes out. Hopefully we get a good seed, but no matter what seed we get it, we just gotta come out and play the basketball that we know how to play. Seed is a big factor, but for us, we just gotta play our game. That’s the biggest factor for us.”
We’ll know the seed and the path soon.
