Congratulations to De’Aaron Fox, who was named SEC Freshman of the Week by the league for the fourth time this season for his performances in Kentucky’s wins over Texas A&M and Arkansas. Fox was particularly impressive vs. Arkansas, putting up a career-high 27 points off 10-16 shooting from the field and 7-7 from the free-throw line. He had 15 points, six assists, and five rebounds vs. Texas A&M on Tuesday.
Fox has had ten games with six or more assists, including the last three. Through 15 games this year, he has 101 assists. His award marks the eighth weekly award of the season for Kentucky, the most of any team in the SEC (duh).
