Kentucky returned home to Rupp Arena to face East Tennessee State in the first game of the Adolph Rupp Classic. Kentucky beat the Buccaneers 78-61 to move to 3-1 on the season. Let’s look back at some game photos courtesy of KSR photographer, Dr. Michael Huang:

While it was a slow start for UK, they went on a run thanks to some hot shooting from Quade Green. He finished the game with a career-high 21 points. Green was 9-for-13 from the field and 3-for-5 from outside the arc.

One game after scoring 20 points on the big stage against Kansas, Kevin Knox followed that performance up with 17 points and 10 rebounds. The 6’9 forward was 4-7 from three point range.

It was great to see P.J. Washington follow up his struggles against Kansas with a better performance against ETSU. He scored 12 points to go along with 8 rebounds although he did have 6 turnovers which needs to improve. Overall, this team needs that type of rebounding effort out of Washington every night.

Kentucky returns to the court on Monday against Troy. For now, check out our complete photo gallery on KSR’s Facebook page here.
