College Gameday was Filled with Beautiful Half-Court Shots

Lexington always puts on a good show when College Gameday is in town, but nobody can ever hit the big bucket.  That was not a problem today at Virginia.

Charlottesville native and two-time Super Bowl Champion Chris Long showed up to the set for a chat with the Gameday crew.  Naturally, Jay Williams challenged him to a half-court shoot-out.  Initially reluctant, Williams had to pony up $100,000 to get Long to take the shot.

No money exchanged hands, until a student took the court.  Gameday has been to UVA three times.  Three times a student has won $18,000.

Well generally speaking, UVA can use any offensive excitement it can get.

Ain’t that the truth…most boring team in history, not counting Princeton.
