Can we get one more round of applause for Briscoe’s effort on this sequence?


It’s hard to pick a Play of the Night after the onslaught of highlight reel plays Kentucky put on Texas A&M last night, but sign me up for Isaiah Briscoe’s steal that led to Malik Monk’s dunk early in the game as the frontrunner. The sequence came only four minutes into the game, but let’s be honest here — the game was over once Monk dropped that hammer to cap the Cats’ 15-0 run.

The Kentucky Basketball Twitter account shared some good angles of the play that really captured Briscoe’s hustle and effort:

    Didn’t see this anywhere just wanted to post it. Apparently Duke has “reinstated” Grayson Allen and he’ll start in the last game before K gets the back operation.
