Calipari will be a guest on Monday Night Football next week

College basketball starts this weekend, so what will John Calipari do on his day between games? Go on Monday Night Football to promote the Champions Classic, of course. KSR is hearing that Cal will be the halftime guest during Monday night’s game between the Dolphins and the Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, one night before his team takes on Kansas in Chicago.

And remind everyone how young his team is. And mention his players in the NBA. And use at least three of his dozens of catchphrases. Get ready to be talked over, Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden.

Calipari when he sees that primetime spotlight…

The NFL is trying to boost their ratings by panning to the largest fan base in the nation. Nice try, now take your politics and get bent.

I haven’t watched the NFL since the kneeling scandal. Yes, I am UK alum and a Cal fan. No, I won’t watch NFL football.
