Blast from the Past of the Day

What better to do at 9:30 on a Sunday night than partake in a little blast from the past? Remember that really, really, really tall player who Kentucky was said to be at least mildly interested in recruiting a while back? Does the name Mamadou Ndiaye ring a bell? Earlier today, @BigWestMD tweeted out a picture of the shortest and tallest players in the NCAA this year. Ndiaye, obviously, is the tallest checking in at 7’6″. Ndiaye is a starter for UC-Irvine, where he averages 8.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game to go with 40 blocks total on the season.

(That should go well…)
