I know this is dumb, but I always wonder what would have happened if he played in that 97′ title game.

The 96 team was and is the greatest basketball team ever put together. These kids came to the university and played their asses off for the school, the coach and themselves, hopefully in that order. They played fearless, proud, with attitude, and had fun doing it. When they got punched in the face they got mad and punched back.spectacular plays and performances. I wish these guys had as much fun as the teams of the past have had. Of course I am partial to the play of Anthony epps as he is from my hometown.

Loved the flash back. But why is it that all the old videos have to be in horrible quality?

That was front page on the CJ here in Louisville. I cut it out and taped it to my closet door until the paper started to rot away. One of the best posterize dunks ever. College or NBA. Had he been healthy for 97 we win 3 Championships in a row. Zero doubt about it. I remember being so sad when he went to Ohio St. Then so happy when I heard he was transferring back here.

Dunk was O.K., but you gotta give props to my hometown boy Anthony Epps for the perfect, old-school 2-handed bounce pass. You don’t see that these days. Epps was the unheralded leader of that NC team, and one of the most underrated PGs of all time.
