UK fans have a love-hate relationship with most national sports media personalities outside of the triumvirate, for whom they have only a hate-hate relationship, and Gary Parrish is trying to tip his scales in the direction of love. Parrish has a vote for the Naismith Award, one of the top prizes for college basketball’s best player, and he has released his preseason watch list. Among the 50 names listed on it, you’ll find FIVE Kentucky Wildcats. Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis, Doron Lamb, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marquis Teague are all in the early discussion as potential standouts this year.
The team with the next highest representation is North Carolina (Kendall Marshall, John Henson, Tyler Zeller, Harrison Barnes) with four. Ohio State (Jared Sullinger, William Buford, Aaron Craft) and Connecticut (Andre Drummond, Jeremy Lamb, Alex Oriakhi) both have three and Vanderbilt (John Jenkins, Jeffery Taylor) has two. Louisville (Peyton Siva) and Duke (Austin Rivers) both have one.
Gary Parrish, you get it. Keep those pro-UK articles coming and those tips well gelled.

I do think it is funny how Miller gets overlooked.
Miller stats:
PPG – 10.9
RPG – 4.6 rebounds
44% from 3 point range
85% from FT stripe
Now compare that some of the others returning on that list. Im going to say Miller will be #2 scorer on this team and will be talked about a lot as season goes on. People are sleeping on a guy who has shown a consistent increase in production each year (09-10 season he averaged 6 ppg).

Snubbed Miller… He sucks!

He also overlooked Eloy Vargus, who is going to have a breakout year. Eloy is the only bulky person we have to play center and since we are going to be so weak on the boards, we will need his contributions. As the season goes on, look for him to progress in much the same way Jorts did and become the heart and soul of the team. Yes, I am kidding. Have a good day everyone.

GP=Grand Prick. To read anything Parish puts out other than his obituary would be nothing more than a waste of my time. Screw that UNC loving D#@KHEAD!

It looks like a pretty big site finally took notice of Matthew Mitchell’s dance Big Blue Madness, it’s currently trending on Buzzfeed under the title “Michael Jackson, Basketball Coach?”…

10 Al you are bringing it today. Still chuckling over your Ual fan story on return from Nam. Keep up the good work. We all know it takes decades to fully ferment our hate for those retarded line beards.

I agree with Blue Virus…don’t give CBS Sports any clicks. The ENTIRE site is anti-UK including Parrish. They’re just trying to recover from their anti-UK blunders from earlier in the year.

Miller is not good in big spots, but I love him anyway.
