When you’re a program like Kentucky, with over one hundred years of basketball excellence hanging in the rafters and lingering in the hallways, tradition is paramount. You respect those that came before you and raise the bar for the ones that will come after you’re long gone. And that’s why I’m so darn proud of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Anthony Davis already. They know about the tradition and they want it to continue for the next generation.
John Wall created a national frenzy two years ago with a little flick of his wrist and bob of his head and Josh Harrellson came through last year and wowed the crowd with “The Carlton”. Now Kentucky’s two young stars appear ready to be the next chapter in the Big Blue Madness book of dance. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist told KSTV yesterday that he not only has a dance planned for tonight, but Anthony Davis is in on it too. He didn’t give any hints, but he hit Dewayne Peevy with a wink and a smile and promised it would be good.
It’s ok to be excited. This is Kentucky basketball. And this is our madness.

Serious question. Why doesn’t Davis shave that unibrow?

The only reason to leave that on his head is that it looks pretty aerodynamic, I sketched many birds in that exact shape as a kid……..GO CATS!!!!!!!
Also, a “unibrow” ride at the lodge might come into vogue!!!

How about less dancing and more scrimmage. What a novel thought.
