WKYT is reporting the most awesome thing you’ll ever hear. An exhibition game between the Kentucky Pros and a team of UK Villains could be coming in the near future.
Rajon Rondo, Nazr Mohammed, Tayshaun Prince, Chuck Hayes, Jodie Meeks, DeAndre Liggins, Josh Harrellson, Eric Bledsoe, Patrick Patterson and Kelenna Azubuike have all agreed to play in a game against the “UK Villains.” The Villains team could potentially include names like Kemba Walker, Rudy Gay, Tyler Hansbrough, Nolan Smith, Eric Gordon, Terrence Williams, Joakim Noah, Kenneth Faried and Shelvin Mack.
It’s all talk at this point so don’t get too excited. We can still hope, though.
Please let this happen.

A bunch of millionaire NBA stars will play an exhibition game in front of 23,000 people who will probably verbally abuse them during the game and their time in Lexington. I”m sorry, but I just find that hard to believe.
Plus I don’t consider Nolan Smith, Kenneth Faried, or Shelvin Mack “villains”. Smith never even played us (although I guess his dad was a Card), and I actually like Faried and Mack.

The Pro players are desperate to find games to play in to stay in shape; with the NBA cancelling preseason games last week, and no hope of the NBA starting anytime soon, time to come play in Rupp.
NBA players might as well just come stay in Lexington; UK has an NBA training facility, more than enough good competition to play against, and since UK is the center of the basketball universe, why not just come to Lexington.

I’m sure a lot of these guys have their own indoor basketball courts at their homes. Not to mention the means to hire personal trainers if they are that worried about getting out of shape.

Laetner is out of shape. The only muscle he’ll be working out in the near future is his sphincter. Hopefully, but not soon enough, he’ll be receiving hard personal training from coaches Rod, Peter, and Johnson. Hopefully, he’ll continue to feel stiff throughout his incarceration.
