Just kidding about that forgetting the game part. Time to wake up from our slumber of denial for a few moments to look at what Coach Joker had to say today in his weekly Sunday teleconference:
- Martavious Neloms (CB) is alright and showed no symptoms of a concussion.
- Josh Clemons (RB) will be be looked at again Thursday re: his hamstring.
- Mark Crawford (DT), who was suspended the first four games, will be back in uniform and eligible for a chance at playing time for the first time this week.
- Gene McCaskgill (WR) didn’t play against UF due to a back injury. Plans to play this week.
- Raymond Sanders (RB) may be back in time for the South Carolina game.
- Colins Ukwu (DE) is out with a knee injury and on a similar timetable to Sander, 2-3 weeks out from a return.
Couple quotes from Joker on the coming week:
“LSU probably has more power. [...] We’ve got to hold this thing on the road. [...] We’ve got a lot of season left and we’ve got to forge ahead. [...] Knowing you’ve got LSU next…you’re going to have a stretch like this every year as long as you play in the SEC.”
Okay, back to watching NFL games and erasing the memory of last night. And/or this entire season, so far. Let me help you guys forget. Stare into this .gif. You are getting sleepy……….very sleepy. There was no football game last night. Kentucky is undefeated this year. We actually have a great chance at winning the SEC championship and playing a BCS bowl. When I snap my fingers, you’ll wake up.

Typical Joker BS.

#2. It will depend if Miles has mercy and puts the 4th string in for the 2nd half and saves his stars for the big games coming in the SEC. I am convinced Florida could have put 70 up if they would have kept pressing.

Where’s the swagger?

lsu 4th string would beat us by 27.5

3 – If Spurrier or Meyer were still at Florida, they would have scored 70 and laughed about it in the post-game conference. We’ve been looking for one aspect of the game that Joker does well. I’ve noticed he has a great grasp of the use of slogans and cliches.

here’s my favorite post game cliche. “it’s the other teams job to stop us from scoring.” face it, you guys are going to be upset and it doesnt matter if they run up the score or take a few knees on the goal line.

I do not know anyone that thought we would logically have a shot at beating Florida! It is not about just winning the game, for many fans just want to see UK be competitive with teams like Florida, so there is something to root for. It destroys the fan base, when they get blown out before the 1st quarter is over, let alone have multiple backs pile on 400+ yards rushing.
How are UK fans suppose to get by a team, when their team gets blown out by the same opponents on a regular basis?
RISE?…….Really Joker!

Why bring Crawford back now?Joker may lose his role as a strict disciplinarian.

1.) only 27.5?! im taken the Tigers all day!

There isn’t an ounce of motivation in Joker’s quote. Hell, if nothing else, UK has nothing whatsoever to lose next week. At least take the pressure off and say, “We’re the underdog. We know it. So we’re just going to go have fun and play our asses off.” Instead, he sounds like a man who knows he’s about to line his team up for an execution. No wonder the team looks DOA at every game.
