[Moderated by Matt Jones, Drew Franklin and Tyler Thompson]

Aaron and Andrew Harrison, the monozygotic basketball stars from Texas that bear a striking resemeblence to Kelenna Azuibuike, are apparently ready to join the party. They told Steve Jones of the Cats Illustrated that they’re 90% sure that they’ll attend Kentucky’s Big Blue Madness, along with Shabazz Muhammad, DaJuan Coleman, Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress, TJ Warren, Willie Cauley, Chris Walker and Dakari Johnson. The twins, both rated in the top 10 of the 2013 class, said earlier this summer that Calipari told them that they were co-priority #1 and that they are both very interested in the Cats. Which is nice because they are pretty good.

but we have historically not signed any of the big classes like this from Madness. In fact, the Juniors who come will probably be more influenced than the seniors, who are much closer to making choices than they appear. Proof the recent dominoes beginning to fall…

I guess the ticket sales for MM must be slow so they are trying to fill it with players instead of fans?

Orton committed after Madness (while still in Lex). Can’t think of anyone else who did within 24/48 hours of Madness.

Ledo has called off the presser that he was supposed to hold on Thursday to supposedly commit to Providence.

August 30th, 2011 at 9:25 pm
I LOVE that they both play with a Boogie-sized chip on their shoulder.
August 30th, 2011 at 9:29 pm
i count five top 25 players in the 2012 class and three top 10 from 2013 plus a top 5 from 2014… my god
August 30th, 2011 at 9:34 pm
They will be there, trust me. The goods have been delivered. Recruiting is easy.
August 30th, 2011 at 9:35 pm
12) Matt Jones said Calipari would get a top 5-10 class for 2012, we all
know he’ll get the #1 class and Harrow wont count because he’s a transfer.
Calipari is the freakin man !!!!

15) You imposter people on the UK comment boards to say they have no life. Think about what you are doing in relation to what you are saying.

I’d rather Cal Take Kasey hill. He can actually shoot. Think Brandon Knight but much more athletic. The Harrison twins are damn good but Hill is better than both.

All I see on all these highlights is drives to the basket. Can Cal recruit a pure shooter?
August 30th, 2011 at 11:54 pm
21 – Ever heard of Doron Lamb and Kyle Wiltjer? I hear they can shoot pretty well. Brandon Knight had a nice 3-point percentage, too, if I recall correctly.
