Psycho T Out Indefinitely

by @ 11:07 am. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Don’t jump, Tyler! You’ll get a stress reaction! Those may lead to stress fractures!

Tyler Hansbrough—the reigning player of the year, super-rad party animal, and the world’s top ping-pong player (Texas Style, that is)—is out an indefinite amount of time with a stress reaction in his shin.

Though I’m not entirely sure what a stress reaction is, it sounds like he spontaneously burst into tears because he had sooo much homework, practice, a meeting with some reporters, and he has to call his little brother Ben back sometime and, and, and, and it’s just TOOO MUCH!!!!!

For realsies, though, it sounds like the Tar Heels are being super careful, and it’s likely that Hansbrough won’t miss any game time, I’m guessing. We won’t know the time table until later today, and ESPN’s medical analyst could not have been more obtuse in predicting how long he’ll be out, saying the injury requires, “a period of rest.” I believe that logic could be applied to….everything. Because, you know, everyone has to sleep sometime.

The Cats play the top-ranked Heels on November 18th in Chapel Hill.

Anybody else think Matt Scherbenske will start that game and just “happen” to put his size 7 into Hansbrough’s shin? Hmm?

  3. GoCats2 Says:

I thought a Stress Reaction was his face when he saw all the blood after Henderson punched him.

What a great post! Informative and funny….not to mention the implication that Psycho T’s stress reaction is really the realization that PPat and the feral felines are comin to visit in just 19 days. Truth hurts and when faced with it the “stress reaction” can occur.
With that wonderful posting, I think we all should go cast our vote for Evan.
