Sometimes UK message boards are literally too good to be true. Case in point, this post today by RTKCatfan on the Cats Pause:
I still have 2-4 Cheetah girl tickets and I am looking to trade them for any Kentucky games. They are 2 rows from the stage so if you have a young girl you will understand. They are for Nashville and I can’t make it now due to work. Because of the generous people on this board I would be willing to trade these for a very cheap game as long as the seats are decent. Thanks
Now I admit to knowing very little about said Cheetah Girls. In fact, I didnt even know that there were Cheetah Girls, although when I heard the name, I didnt think a kids musical group, and I certainly didnt think it would include “You So Raven” Symone (although it looks as if she isnt always with the group….is she new or old?). But yes, the Cheetah Girls are aimed at the kiddies, and this poor chap believes that there are people out there with UK basketball tickets, just dying to go see the Cheetah ladies, and willing to part with those tickets for an up close shot of the girl formerly known as Olivia.
I cant imagine that my man was successful….but maybe he was. If not the Cheetah Girls, what is the worst thing that you would give up UK tickets to go see?

The worse thing I would give UK tickets up for is probably UT tickets, ofcourse to the UT/UK game only!!

1.. so you’re saying the worst thing you’d give up UK tickets for is UK tickets. I’m confused.

I am the father of four young girls. Raven from That’s so Raven(not You so Raven) was originally part of the Cheetah Girls but she does not tour with the other three. She is in the Cheetah Girls movies but not technically part of the group. Just my view as a father who watches a lot of the Disney Channel.

Fathers make amazing sacrifices sometimes.

The dude on TCP offering the tickets says they are 2 rows from the stage.
Seats in row 7 are going for $750.00 each on StubHub
If I had UK tickets to trade him, I would.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:12 pm
stubhub is a ripoff but the tickets definitely have value.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
Yeah the dudes actually downgrading $ wise. If I had the time I would trade him and then scalp the others lol

The girls on each end used to be in that group 3LW.

The only Cheetah girls I knew of worked at the Cheetah strip club. I guess if I had kids, and EVER watched the Disney channel I would have known the difference.

Hey GoCats– You have like 5 girls and one the way, right? Has the newest addition arrived yet? Also, I thought you lived somewhere south of Lexington or in the western part of the state so that would be an easy trek over to Nashville.
September 30th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Um, obviously you don’t have kids (especially girls). You cannot imagine the things you willingly
sacrifice to do for them. I actually thought it sounded like a great deal.
See, that’s what happens.

10) 4 girls and a boy on the way(whew!). I am impressed with your memory however I live in Ohio. Used to live in Southern Ohio, now near Cleveland. My girls once asked me if I would trade UK tickets for Hannah Montana tickets and I said no way and they got mad! It would be a different if I ever got to go to games regularly then I might make the sacrifice. But seeing that I havent been to a game in 7 years after previously not missing a home game in 5 years it would be hard to give any game up.

8.) “I’m getting pretty tired of your broken promithes, promithes
Lookin at your pager seeing different numberth, numberth”

Like you wouldn’t trade UK tickets for lunch with Heidi & Spencer…

I try to remember the “good guys” and ignore the “nerd fighters”. There are far more “good guys (and gals)” on here than bad ones. At times it certainly does not seem that way. I have been impressed with the intellect of the posters (as opposed to the posers) over the last few weeks.
Good luck to you with the “little man” and keep the postings coming.

14. I was thinking the same thing! lol

Do all those girls have 1 bum knee?
September 30th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
#2 Yes you are confused. Give your own answer, instead of bashing mine asshole! That’s right the only thing I would give up UK tickets for are UK tickets, okay genius, you figured it out!

I would even see the wiggles for my 4 and 6 year old kids. Wait, who is UK playing?
September 30th, 2008 at 5:20 pm
I would go alone if it were the Doodle Bops.

I gave up midcourt fifth row tickets to a UK basketball game to go to the Music City Bowl last year. WELL worth it and the only thing I would give up tickets for.
Well, maybe some New Kids on the Block reunion concert tickets might entice me. j/k
