by @ 5:08 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

I am told the games will actually be outside on the courts directly behind Memorial, not inside the gym. Just a little FYI

roseysdaddy—Below is what I posted on the previous link.

What rule is broken? As long as the Coaches are not there, it is not a penalty. Actually, the coaches can be with the players for 2 hours a week before the 17th of Oct., no longer than 20 hours a week while the kids are in school and can run them 24 hours a day during Christmas break and Spring Break.

Something tells me that BCG and crew will set up on the roof of the dorm next to the court. They are not there, not giving instruction and not requiring the kids to be there– therefore, no infraction.

I hope Flurry doesn’t trip someone and get them tore all to h*ll on the asphalt!

  7. JimmyJam Says:

7, hopefully flurry isnt anywhere near the UK campus =P

  8. The 5 Star Dribbler Says:

I may bring my Wal-Mart Bball by and showcase my talents for BCG and the boyz. Maybe they’ll offer a walk-on spot for me as non-traditonal student!

  9. roseysdaddy Says:

5 - I wasn’t implying that this WAS a violation, just that I didn’t think the coach could be there. That being said, if a rule is being violated, i wouldn’t know one way or the other.

And God bless everyone involved in this. I think it’s great allowing the public a free oppertunity to see their wildcats in action.

This is welcomed news. Indeed the coaches can be there so long as the scrimmaging is informal. Inviting outside players is encouraged as proof positive. That said, BCG and I will be in a safe undisclosed location passing the ‘40oz. of Freedom’, or two, and evaluating talent…and the Cats.

  13. krogercat Says:

What time do you think they will be playing.

  14. hookem Says:

I’ve played on those tight ass rims about 1000 times. If you actually show up to harass these kids, you may be a bigger loser than “meeksistheman.” (No life)

  15. TonyDelk00 Says:

hookem must not know the extent of UK basketball…they dont know what college basketball tradition is in Austin.
