One week after Mfon Udofia picked Georgia Tech, the Cats might be scratching another potential 2009 point guard off of their list as Darius Morris is expected to announce his decision Friday afternoon. Morris, ranked by Rivals as the 70th overall player and 10th best point guard, played for the Belmont Shore AAU team with Michael Avery over the summer and is believed to be leaning toward Michigan. He also has offers from USC, Oregon and Washington State.
And, because I’ve got nothing else, here are a few videos.
He’s #1 in this video:

man, this hurts in my opinion! morris was my 2nd pick in ‘09 pg after jon wall. now it looks like we’re gunna loose on both of them. Lets hope like hell that when those scores are released tomorro (like we’ve heard 100 times already..we’ll see) that Liggins is qualified!!!

Wall and Morris was your 1st and 2nd pick?
Is that right?

According to scout, he was never offered by UK.

7) yea, just in pg though..not my overall 1 and 2 in the entire class.

Unless Liggins is 1/done, or Galloway doesn’t pan out, I would be content if UK doesn’t sign another PG in the ‘09 class. We have Vilarino coming in, and the KC for the ‘10 class.

uk is still looking at chris colvin and ramon galloway and possibly a.j. walton…there are still some left, and I’ve heard the first two are better than darius morris.

I dont see him as a loss. Let him go to Michigan, they could use the help. Just surprising they got someone from Cali. Hard to pull them from the west coast.
