Pulley/Fidler News

by @ 1:52 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Rich Brooks spoke to the media about Pulley and Fidler….here is the quick summary….

Curtis Pulley will face some type of game suspension, either part of a game, a full game or potentially multiple games. How much has yet to be decided. Brooks was most upset about the fact that he had to find the Pulley news from media sources and not the kid himself.

Will Fidler will receive some punishment but will not miss games.

Michael Hartline will still compete for the QB job but will not be given it just due to off the field issues, but based on what happens on the field.

More later…..

Old Rich will handle the situation right.

  3. MarkCouryismathletic Says:

If Pulley misses less than two games, Brooks is sackless.

Matt, we all know you’re more interested in this scoop on The Hills than UK football (happens to be written by a good friend of mine).

3 whats a little weed to the sec? speeding? comeoooon. i may have allegedly done all of the above in college. i never got in trouble. UofL players rob people. thats serious.

Hey Matt…Couldn’t you have gotten him a better deal AND kept it out of the media?

  7. gossie21 Says:

I think Brooks should suspend Pulley from playing defense or special teams for the remainder of the season. That should show him.

  8. miamiwildcat Says:

let the kid play! look at places like nebraska, miami and florida state where they let kids play who still have an aknle bracelet and white powder on their nose.

did he commit a violent offense? NO did he physically hurt someone? NO! Did he steal money? NO! he got caught speeding, big freaking deal, he was obviously cooperative. possesion of marijuana, big freaking deal, it’s legal in two, three states right?! Gaitwood smokes it all the time.

  9. BIGMONEY Says:

Im tired of all the bashing of players when no one knows the situation especially when its a CAT!! TCP is a concentrated board of dumbasses!

  10. BravoBigBlue Says:

Sounds reasonable to me. But I think Pulley has to show he’s head and shoulders better than Hartline on the field to win the starting QB job.

4 has a point. Hell, Baylor hoops players “off” each other and bury teammates in shallow rock graves, Nebraska players beat their girlfriends and get hooked on pain medications without suspension time, Vols are great at academc fraud, we don’t have to get into Free Shoes University players at Dillard’s/Foot Locker, Pitt players taking license with phone card scams, the Sooners have a long history with cocaine(actual and alleged), etc, etc. As Colorado’s coach has been quoted to say, “Hey it’s Division 1 football, brother. Go play intramurals!”
