Off to Raleigh for Tournament of Champions

by @ 11:29 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Memorial Day weekend will be an eventful one for me as I head to Raleigh, North Carolina to attend the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, my first chance to see most of the big 2007 recruits in action live. Many UK targets will be there and I hope to do a number of interviews that we can have for you here or on Kentucky Sports Report. The trip will also give me the opportunity to see my Carolina Hurricanes play in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals and to make sure that the Duke Lacrosse players have not torn down my former alma mater.

In addition, Dan Werner (who one reader who is not an avid follower of UK told me I “mention every couple of days but say nothing about”) is visiting Pitt this weekend. I spoke to his father this week and am under the impression that Kentucky is the leader at this point. We have to make it through the Florida visit (luckily they arent in school and the co-eds may be gone), but I think the power forward that Tubby needs could be on the horizon.

Maybe Florida should be happy he visited UK when none of our co-eds were there. I always thought UK had a whole bunch of smoking hot ladies. Of course, none of them wanted to talk to me.

  2. Tom Gray Says:

If Hot Ladies determined where recruits went, Arizona State would sign 5 McDonalds All-Americans every year!
