It took five days from the actual release of the verdict, but the Courier Journal released a story this morning on the former UL track coach’s lawsuit victory over the University of Louisville. The former employee sued the Louisville Athletic Department for retaliation after she was dismissed from the program following a complaint of gender discrimination by her supervisor. The dismissal led to a lawsuit, which led to a jury verdict awarding her #371,000 in damages. The verdict actually came down on Friday afternoon, but for reasons that are hard to understand, the story didnt come out until this morning. But hey, maybe there are so many important stories in Louisville that multiple blogs could beat you to a story in your own city. Nice job Courier Journal…and Tommy Jurich.

Louisville athletics is a sexually deprived place.
Why else would you think there would be so much news about them being sexually creepy, with strange and uncomfortable awkwardness spreading among the workers there like a bowling alley toilet seat rash in Mogadishu.
It’s the drip down effect. We saw it with Pitino, and now… we’re starting to understand where this all comes from. Tom Jurich. He uses his power to drip anywhere and everywhere and if you don’t like it, down the leg it goes!

Why the delay?…I heard about this story on Friday of LAST week! Today is Wednesday! Was there a possible cover-up until a local blog writer unearthed the story and questioned the C-J’s motives? This reaffirms my decsion to cancel my subscription years ago. It appears to me that the Courier-Journal is apprehensive in printing negative stories about the University of Louisville’s athletic deparment, which of course is controlled by Tom Jurch. It also appears to me that Mr. Jurich controls much more than just his athletic department.

Eric Bledsoe was a high profile basketball player. His school changing his grades to make him eligible to play for UK is newsworthy. Some staffer at uofl that no one has ever heard of is not worthy of a sports story in the CJ. You are a moron.

Seriously guys…us UL people don’t care about things like sexual harassment or adultery, why even bring that up to us? It’s like when you cayut fans bring up stuff about our players getting tazed and arrested, beating people up over hair brushes or killing one another. We aren’t concerned with those things, we are far more concerned that something bad happens to you so you will stop humiliating us.
