Are you dying to read another story about how Andre Woodson’s mechanics are hurting his draft stock. Yeah, neither am I. But, just in case, here is one from the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Former UK defensive tackle and former 4th overall pick DeWayne Robertson was traded to the Broncos for a pair of late round draft picks. Word is that Robertson might not even be able to pass a physical because of his knee, so stay tuned to that in the coming days. I wish nothing but the best for a quality guy who used to buy us normal people food at K-Lair. Also, the Cowboys traded their back-up tight end to the Dolphins. Add them as a potential Tamme destination.
The UK baseball team entered into an extremely important series with Vanderbilt last night in Nashville and dropped game one, 3-2. Game two is today and if Kentucky wants to make the post-season, they would be wise to win today and tomorrow. Right now, they have a 9-10 record in conference to go with 31-11 overall.
Here’s a pretty cool story from Mark Story at the Herald-Leader about Rajon Rondo’s high school coach, Doug Bibby, and his rooting interests in the first round series between the Hawks and Celtics.
The busiest man in Kentucky, Ramel Bradley, will be performing in Paris, Ky. tonight, one night after taking the stage at The Dame in Lexington. He will be a part of the Jonathan Webb Music Festival.
Enjoy your Saturday.

Coach Bibby may have an interest on both sides, but it’s not quite what Donna Smith had to deal with having sons on apposing teams.

Good luck Ramel!

Does this mean Ramel won’t be at the event in Nicholasville? Or will he just head to Paris right after? Will he still stick around to sign autographs?
April 26th, 2008 at 12:22 pm
the even in Paris is a late night thing so I would guess he would play then go to Paris after.
April 26th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
yep, he will be at both events. if he was in the nfl draft today, kiper would be very high on his “motor”. dude never sleeps.

by the way, Zac Depuity is an amazing artist

His myspace says his concert in Paris is at 9pm. How is that a late night thing? The game in Nicholasville starts at 7 and basketball games usually last 2 hours.
April 26th, 2008 at 12:50 pm
from what i understand, the whole festival starts at 9. thats not when he is taking the stage. he will defnitely be at both events. straight from the horses mouth.

Did anyone go see the show at the dame?
The R-S-Beezy, he likes to call himself….
I’m sorry but how can anyone take you seriously when you refer to yourself as the R-S-Beezy in most of your songs?

Zach Deputy is a musical genius. The guy is an amazing guitar player, and when he plays live he records each section of the musical on stage separately and then loops them in the background the rest of the song (rhythm guitar, bass line, beat boxing..another of his gifts) and then sings and plays lead guitar over it. It is usually just him and then a guy on bongos. But, without a doubt, he is great live. Very fun and musically satisfying performer.
Let me put it this way… his own originals songs are good, but he did the best cover i have ever heard of Ice, Ice Baby and went directly into a Wu Tang clan song, then right into the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, and then into the James Bond theme music….all while never completely stopping the music. It was phenomenal.

it’s a big field party in paris, so it will be going on all night. there will be plenty of time for him to perform after the event.
