With Kentucky again holding out for a late commitment this spring, it only seems fitting that one of the great spring recruiting names of the past makes his way back into the headlines with a little controversy. The man many know as a former Michigan commit, Kentucky and Illinois player and current Florida International Panther, Alex Legion, might have used 140 characters of creativity to let the world in on a nickname he has for former coach Bruce Weber of Illinois. After two of the Illini’s top players chose to return to school instead of entering the draft, Legion sent this message out to them, lighting a fire under all Weber-heads:
@ALegion33 @Meechi32 @Illiniballa24 wish yall would have stayed and got money yall dnt owe #dreamkiller nothing! Good luck!
It should be noted that, though this is starting to make its way around blogs as a reference to Weber, Legion denied that Weber was the “#dreamkiller” in question. In a clever and well-thought out Tweet, Legion responded to someone asking for clarification by suggesting a that the questioner was more than welcome to affix the part of the body he uses to speak to a certain part of Legion’s body that was not intended to be a thermometer. I spoke with several Twitter historians who believe that this is a denial.
But, with the Son of a Prophet bringing us a little early May creativity and, considering he chose to rag on the only coach he has who isn’t an easy target, let’s get creative too. 1, I don’t even think that requires registration. Apparently, pretty much everyone in baseball is going to no-hit the Rays. You just have to wait your turn.

With young athletes coming from all over, you can never really tell how they are going to act or react until they get to campus. I really thought Legion was going to be a Ron Mercer, but instead we got a bad apple. Just goes to show we really never know until they get here. By the way, I hope that this man will make something of his life. I wish him well and hope that his mother don’t ruin him. Jones, I like the registering being back, not only better quality, but less quantity of comments!!!

I don’t know where this rates on appropriateness, but Legion’s girlfriend once cheated on him with me. By far the coolest thing I’ve ever done. And no I didn’t know they were dating beforehand.
