Man, Our guys are not playing like I assumed they would play in March. I saw this play in December and January, and thought we would be a different team in March. I have a feeling we are going to be Heart Broken after an earlier than expected loss in the NCAA’s. Just Truth Sayin’
Dodson gets in, gets one shot, and hits our only three. Tell me why Harrelson is in the game before Dodson gets a single minute? We need outside shooting and he is our best outside shooter.
“Here we go” indeed. It looks like UK is getting ready to lay quite an egg. But, when you have a head coach who says conference tournaments don’t mean that much, what do you expect. Everyone comments about Dodson (yes, he did have three straight turnovers) but what about “Boogie” and Bledsoe? Mr. Cousins can’t stop bellyaching long enough to do anything and, well, Bledsoe is just Bledsoe.
I think this team will be remembered in history as The Unpredictables. You never know which version of the team is going to show up! Will it be the immensely talented and dominant second-ranked team or will it be a sloppy and immature bunch of freshmen?
God, I HATE our stall offense. We virtually never score out of it. Might as well just hold onto the ball until the shot clock expires then give it to the other team. Why do we bother? To kill 5 more seconds at the expense of any chance to score ourselves. I’ll trade 2 points for 5 seconds a possession all day long.
