A crazy Saturday has come to an end in the SEC and now the Tournament pairings are set. It actually turned out rather unfavorably for UK, as they will end up playing the three teams that are likely the toughest matchups for the Cats during the three rounds. But UK will still be the overwhelming favorite and there is no doubt that Nashville will be dressed in Blue. Here is how it looks:
THURSDAY:
South Carolina vs Alabama 1 pm
LSU vs Tennessee 3:30 pm
Florida vs Auburn 7 pm
Georgia vs Arkansas 9:30 pm
FRIDAY:
Kentucky vs USC/Bama winner 1 pm
Ole Miss vs LSU/UT winner 3:30 pm
Mississippi State vs Fla/Aub winner 7 pm
Vanderbilt vs Ark/UGA winner 9:30 pm
It should be quite the event and KSR will be there in full force for our traditional around the clock coverage. It will be fun.

Are those the right game times?..Pretty sure now with the ESPN deal, the Cats will be playing at noon every day as long as they keep on winning.

My predictions:
UK defeats SC, Tenn and Vandy in the SEC finals. That would be make for a nice weekend.
Then in the NCAA we defeat U of L in 2nd round, Ohio State or West Virginia in sweet 16, Duke in final 8, Syracuse in Semi- finals then Kansas in Final game for our 8th NCAA championship.
What are some other possible scenarios that would be nice?

I hate to be a pessimist, but I don’t like the bracket. I don’t think the Cocks will be an issue, but then Tennessee and Vanderbilt at Vanderbilt? It would be a great championship if we get it, but we have our work cut out for us…

UofL has only 2 wins against top 50 rpi teams. After they beat Cuse the first time they got blown out by St.Johns. Loserville still sucks. Pitino just owns Boeheim

I sat here today and listened to Bobby Knight sing the praises of Syracuse, calling them all but invincable, so I knew right then that Louisville would capture the win. So I’m sure now, that Kansas will again be the ESPN love child.

No team has two better wins this season (twice over the Orange) than the Cards and the greatest coach in college basketball.
