(Mark Cornelison, Herald-Leader)
I am Scotty Hopson. This is me “doin the John Wall.”
Actually, it’s now called the Hippity-Hopson.
Excuse me if you’re offended, for this is my proudest moment.
In two years I will be averaging 12 and 3 for the Albuquerque Thunderbirds.
I will never win the SEC, nor sniff the Sweet 16, but I will win the D-League dunk contest, which, at the end of the day, is what it’s all about.
So take your dance and piss on it, Wall. And just remember, when you’re gettin’ it handed to you in the league, that Scotty Hopson runs this…and might need to borrow some cash.
JP here. You know my last name.
I “rep” for my school because we own this court.
When the women are on the road.
In two years I’ll be posting double-dubs at your neighborhood Y. So you might want to put a hand in my face.
See you in the final 4, kitty cats.
I’ll be watching from the head rest of Tyler Smith’s rental car.
