I will never win the SEC, nor sniff the Sweet 16, but I will win the D-League dunk contest, which, at the end of the day, is what it’s all about.
So take your dance and piss on it, Wall. And just remember, when you’re gettin’ it handed to you in the league, that Scotty Hopson runs this…and might need to borrow some cash.

HAHAHA! Glad they get to experience the highlight of their career!! Now it’s time for the Cats to focus on the next game, and a national championship. The vols need to focus on what to do once they get routed in the first round, because that is what always happens.

Wow. (This is the real me, btw). I hear how insignificant UT is on this board all the time, yet more is thrown at UT than at any other team that doesn’t have a coach with sexual encounter at Porkcinis.
Yes, this is a huge win for UT, but not the only big win this year. Scotty Hopson isn’t better than John Wall or any of the other 1 and done freshman (or 2 and done ones) on the UK squad this year. JP Prince is more of a pauper than his cousin. I know this. But today the Vols won. Should they just shrug their shoulders and walk off the court? Come on. You’re UK. You’re better than this. It’s we Vol fans that are supposed to be using the lines like “Cal-a-cheat-e” and DeMarcus Thuggins, etc etc etc.

I wonder how many 3 pointers Dodson shoots a day? Like it was mentioned by Jimmy Dykes at half time the other night vs. South Carolina: Championship teams of the past shoot over 40% @ 3 pointers. A few players need to stay after practice and shoot more 3′s.

We can look at it this way: At least we help UT sell out TBA at least once this year for a men’s basketball game! Only other times that place is sold out is for a popular concert or maybe the womens basketball team!

As a loyal Vol basketball fan for my entire 31 years, beating UK is always a highlight.
And #23-you might want to check out your #’s a bit. UT men’s team has sold out several games this year (and is, I believe #4/5 in the nation in attendance). I don’t think the LV have sniffed a sell out in many years at TBA. There are only so many lesbians, little girls, and old people in the world.

Macon is the only vol fan that I can tolerate reading his messages on this board! I knew this was going to be a tough game for us. Not much of a turn around time between games, but I’m not blaming our loss on that. UT just outplayed us, and we came out flat in the 1st half.

As much as i blame refs during the game, when i come to myself i realize the refs have not lost a single game for UK that i have watched. 2-22 from 3 and allowing 36 points in the paint has. Go Cats. Go Cowboys.

We looked slow in the first half, the 9pm Thursday game combined with the noon Saturday game was not a good combo. No excuses but it is what it is. We’ll come out to play next game and 27-2 is still pretty sweet!

There were 2 SEC games I was really worried about after I saw the schedule, when it 1st came out. This one being 1, and the SC at SC. All the other SEC games, I wasn’t too worried about. BTW… 45-26 OK St. 1 minute left in the 1st half.

3 things have to happen for TEnnessee to beat the cats. 1) Tennessee plays their best game, 2) UK plays a horrible game, and 3) the refs sway it toward Tennessee. Unfortunately all three happened. 27-2 and still awesome. No teams win them all. Go Cats.

I’m a 43 year old that can play basketball games on back to back days without a lot of effort. I find it hilarious that the Cats “are tired” from playing Thursday, Saturday. They are 19 year old kids. They should never get tired. Cal built in their excuse before they even left Lexington imo. Tennessee had the better game, gave the better effort, won and still suck!

Yeah, you’ve had some good games down there for UT, but I’ve got a feeling that picture shows your ass writing a check your game can’t cash. I really do feel sorry for UT should we meet them in the SEC Tournament. That place is going to be a sea of blue.

50 – Did you watch the game? See the box score? At halftime, Kentucky had already shot 19 free throws and hit 15, which means that more than half of KY’s 1st half point came off of free throws! Final free throw count: KY 21-27 TN 12-17 (4 of which came at the end of the game). Final Foul Totals: KY 18 (2 at the end of the game) TN 24. Check your facts and suck it up. It’s one loss and your boys just got outplayed. That’s the whole story.

First off I say congrats to UT, they outplayed us almost all the way. Next I want to know who was the ass who scheduled the S. Carolina and Tennesse games so close together when UT is suppose to be our arch rival, at least they are to me. I hope this does not happen again. I personally would rather lose twice to USC or any team in the SEC than lose once to UT.

Big cat fan! the game was a good game. Like I always say when we win… We did what we were suppose to do, n that’s protect home court.
Well UT did the same. They protected home court. We couldve of one but we didn’t.
As far as the scotty hopson dance goes if that makes him feel good” so be It”.
