Being a modern-day, Nike creation that tries to market to the mall shopper and street baller alike, I think we got off easy. I’m not crazy about it, but anything short of an Oregon-like monstrosity is considered a victory in my book.

4: UK is blue and white and have been for over 100 years. I love the color black but there’s no place for it in a UK uniform. Do you think the Yankees would add red in their uniform after all these decades???

I like it. From a distance, it looks like our traditional uniforms, but up close, its a more modern look. I think its a good mix.

“I love to smell my wife’s feet Says” blue=hairs like you need to get over the “traditional” colors thing. It’s about the players and I think they would love it to have a little black, grey, or silver in the uni’s. I’m up for anything that brings a little more attention to our team.

My favorite jersey in the ncaa is Georegtown and Michigan. I hate both of these teams, but really like their uniforms

These jerseys are a mix between what we already have and what Duke and Texas are wearing. I was hoping for something new, to be the first wearing them, set a new trend. Where’s the match to the Lebron shoes???

I hate these types of jerseys. Who are we trying to be? Some queer on Duke’s roster or a soccer team? These are the worst looking uniforms and I constantly make fun of Duke/Texas for wearing them. I pray this isn’t our new look..

46, these are not the same uniforms duke wears and texas just wore these for the first time last night. i really like these. they look very good from the front and the back of the shirts are tight. the white ones look better, but once i saw the new texas uni’s i felt like we would wear something similar

not a big fan. they remind me of dukes jerseys, which is always a bad thing. I actually like our current jersey, even the tight fitting smediums, but the shorts are a little long for me, so I will be interested to see how the new uniforms fit.
overall though, if this is it. im a little disappointed.

#39… Ohio State and University of Akron have already had Lebron as their sponsor for a few years now, so we werent going to be the first anyway.
To tell you the truth, I like the traditional look plus the modern put in (Elite technology with banners, etc) but I was hoping for something a little more, plus a LB23 branding.

Like a post on this blog a few days ago, regardless of WHAT the jerseys looked like, some were going to like them, some were going to hate them.
Some don’t like our current jerseys. Now, those very people will complain about these.
I like them myself, but at the end of the day, what the hell difference does it make? We’re 22-1 and #2 in the nation. Just be happy.

This sounds like something Dick’s would do if they are in fact replicas of the actual new unis. They don’t care about rules. I guarantee you they weren’t supposed to put them out until this weekend. Dick’s Sporting Goods is crap…the worst company in the history of retail, bar none.

I’m so glad our complaining is now focused on something so stupid as uniforms … It feels a lot better to read these comments than the comments over the past two years of crappy play… Go cats keep up the good play!!! Hate to say it but I reslly like the Syracuse uni’s. They’ve incorporated grey into theirs and it looks great. We wore freakin denim people! How can you get worked up over a trace of grey or black? Denim!

My only problem is that WE ARE KENTUCKY. We should have our OWN unique design. NOT something similar to Texas, Duke or anyone else. We will now be referred to as CopyCats.
What happened in all of these Nike design meetings with Cal? I get the feeling some stiff from Nike told Cal we were getting something truly unique and special for UK ONLY. Well, the “unique” part is the artwork in the back of the jersey….However what they failed to mention is that Texas would have their own “unique” design too.
The same thing happened with the Nike unis we had just before the current threads. Everywhere you looked, some school had the same thing….even Georgia for crying out loud!!!
I wish we would send these back to Nike, and tell them we want something that is Kentucky ONLY! Otherwise, just keep what we have. They are the most unique unis we have had in years.

Other than the pattern on the back they are the same. I hope these are not the jerseys cuz frankly, they look cheap. I would think LeBron would do a better job than that.

Blue white with black trim would be tight and match the new LeBron shoes. A patterson on the back would be ok but somethin better than that. Dukes really isnt all that bad, but Texas has it now too. I just hope its original and if it is a pattern, I hope its better lookin than that. But, why would the mall already have the jersey when they havent even been unveiled yet?

These jerseys are an EPIC FAIL. They are hideous. The jerseys we currently wear are the best looking jerseys in the NCAA. These new ones are terrible. Ugliest unis I have ever seen. I pray to God that these arent what we have been anticipating. If so, we should stick with what we already have.

I’m not a big fan of these because they are just like Texas new jerseys and Duke’s current year. I would have liked to seen an alternate jersey like Black or Silver ones with blue and white checkers going down the side like Syracuse and Marquette. I’m still going to buy them anyway.
