IT was only a matter of time. You may remember a couple of months ago we had Shannon Ragland on our radio show, author of a tell-all book about the 1962 UK football team, that included stories of game fixing and a defeat of a #1 ranked team (one of only 3 in school history). But that was overshadowed to our show, and to the world, by his allegations that the UK football team also was paid to receive gay oral sex….including with Rock Hudson. Well the Herald-Leader picked up the story today and now the best blog on the Internet, Deadspin has realized its comedy and is running with it today. Hey, whatcha gonna do…
You do have to give the comments credit….my favorite is “You should have seen what was going on in the 1990s Duke basketball locker rooms”

I’m in the middle of reading the book right now (have been for a month…), and it’s actually a pretty entertaining homage to Kentucky Prep and UK Football…it’s just the bj’s from Rock Hudson ultimately give you that uneasy, “i-need-to-go-use-power-tools-and-drink-beer” kinda vibe.

Hey Ragland, I’ve got $200 in my wallet right now. Is that enough to to take a free, bare knuckles swing at you? I’ll let you put up as much defense as you let the ‘62 Cats put up before publishing that garbage.
