Play call

Most talk in the state is about the play call for Sheray Thomas and it isnt really dying down. Wprd came out this evening that the play was one designed by Assistant Scott Rigot, who apparently suggested the idea of going to Sheray due to his hot hand. For a coach already viewed skeptically by the Cat fanbase, this news cannot be viewed as positive.

It also makes one wonder if it would have been different had Assistant Coach Dave Hobbs been there. The responsiblity for calling that play would likely have been his and he may very well have made a different suggestion. Either way, it is ultimately academic. Hopefully it wont end up being the defining play of the season.
