We’re on the road tonight, as the Cats take their road show to Broadway in a match-up against UConn at Madison Square Garden. You probably have a lot of questions, so we’ve tried to them in the following informative piece.

Where is Madison Square Garden? That sounds crazy. Is it a garden?

No. In fact, Madison Square Garden is a large arena in New York, New York. It was built in 1968. It is the home venue to the New York Rangers, the New York Knicks and the New York Liberty.

New York, New York? Did you mean to say New York twice?

Yes, I did. New York City is located in New York State.

That twists my mind in knots. What is so famous about New York City?

New York City is the most populous city in the United States. It has also been the nation’s largest financial center since World War II, and the birthplace of many cultural movements.

Oh. I don’t like rap music. Can I still come to New York City?

Yes. There are many other styles of music for you to enjoy in New York City, such as salsa, jazz, punk and other genres. You should have no problem finding a musical outlet you enjoy.

Does Spiderman live in New York City? What about the Ghostbusters?

No, they are fictitious characters from movies which were set in New York City.

Are there any real stars who live in New York City?

Of course! The city is home to many well-known musicians, writers, actors and directors, such as Woody Allen, Robert Deniro, Billy Joel and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Is it true that if I visit New York, I will be robbed and murdered?

Yes.

What should I see when visiting New York City?

You definitely shouldn’t miss Central Park, the Bronx Zoo, Times Square and Rockefeller Center, among other famous tourist destinations. Just don’t step in any pee; it’s, like, everywhere.

Oh! I just did.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that back when you were asking your earlier questions.

What if I witness a “gangland slaying?” Then won’t the mob come after me?

Probably. Just lie low till the heat dies down.

Is the Statue of Liberty in New York City?

Wow. Are you serious? Yeah.

How many boroughs make up the New York City Area?

Eleven. These boroughs are the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, West Murphytown, Beard Point, Tootsville, East Murphytown, Skillet Grove and Connecticut.

How long should I plan on staying when visiting New York City?

Until you’re robbed and murdered. Enjoy your trip!
