[Moderated by Matt Jones]

An exciting weekend in the Commonwealth, with a lot to get to on the UK athletics front. Lets hit it:
(1) The win on Saturday over Florida Atlantic was maybe not an “A” effort, but was certainly a solid performance. The win gave Kentucky its first 5-0 start in 23 years, and has put the Cats at NUMBER EIGHT in both polls. Think about that for a second. I remember having a conversation two years ago with a couple of national football guys and one of them asked, “do you think Kentucky will ever be legitimately ranked in the Top 10?” I went back and forth on my answer, but deep down I probably thought it was likely no. But now, not only are the Cats in the Top 10, they now legitimately fit into the SEC East race. With Florida’s loss, a win against South Carolina on the road could, and yes I do mean COULD, put the Cats in a position to win the SEC East with a victory EITHER over Florida or at Georgia. That is almost unfathomable to me, but with all the potential tiebreakers and the like, it is possible. And oh yeah, Desmond Howard (who I like more every day) put the Cats in his Top 5 last night…..pinch me folks, it must be a dream.
(2) In other big news, Scout.com’s Mike Sullivan is reporting that Terrence Jennings, the big man prospect that could make UK’s 2008 class a Top 5 caliber one, has narrowed his list to five schools….of which UK is one. The others are Virginia, West Virginia, UCONN and Miami…..what is not there….first of all, Maryland (which further proves that once you decommit, you dont go back) and Louisville, who some had predicted could get his services as soon as this week. Big, big news on Jennings who we hope to have on the show at the end of the week.
(3) Well the ticket giveaway for Midnight Madness was….well, to put it kindly, problematic. The online distribution was a disaster as thousands who got up at 7 am were greeted by computer malfunctions and the inability to get a ticket until hours later, if ever. There were some problems live as some felt that the people who camped out were skipped over by some early AM arrivees. And many complained bitterly about the seat they were dealt and how it came about. The process and the resulting furor showcases just how much interest there will be for the October 12 event. I have spoken with many of our national college basketball friends who are making the trip as the beginning of the Billy Clyde era is being anticipated with a passion that is really remarkable. Now if we can just get everyone in so they can see it…..
(4) Andre Woodson for Heisman keeps getting momentum. The previously mentioned Desmond Howard says he is now the favorite and a poll of actual Heisman voters has him a solid third at this point. He needs to hit this three game stretch strong however….win 1 game and he is still on the list, 2 games and he is a contender….and 3…..well lets not go crazy. Andre is a great player and a better kid….watching him get this attention is one of the neatest things I have seen at UK. Now is THE time to be a part of UK Athletics…..you can just feel the excitement.
More later….

Is UK gonna put together a media blitz about Andre for the Heisman?
September 30th, 2007 at 4:57 pm
ohhhhhhhhhhhh C A T S, CATS, CATS, CATS!
you all should do a live show from B Dubs for Thursday. what do you think?
September 30th, 2007 at 5:06 pm
Even if Andre doesn’t win the Heisman,He’s solidified his place in Kentucky football as one of the best ever. Not bad for a kid who was going to give football up a couple of years ago!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 5:06 pm
UK #8 in the AP and USA Today polls!!!!!!!!!
GO CATS!!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 5:12 pm
Jennings would be a huge signing for us. Reel him in BG. I knew he wasn’t thinking about UL.
September 30th, 2007 at 5:12 pm
Matt, can you mention the AT&T All-America Player of the Week award? Andre is nominated again, and the winner is determined by fans texting VOTE to 87654. You can vote times as you want until midnight Wednesday. He won in week 3, and the winner will be announced during our game Thursday. Winning these honors (and SEC honors) have to help his Heisman chances. Let’s start texting!!!

September 30th, 2007 at 5:32 pm
Jennings would be a phenominal get.
September 30th, 2007 at 5:36 pm
Matt,
Here’s a good story about Rich Brooks people might want to check out.
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/blainenewnham/2003913137_newnham 30.html
September 30th, 2007 at 5:52 pm
Mitch Barnhardt and Rich Brooks should be commended for changing the UL game from the 1st to the 3rd game. And they took a lot of heat for it from just about everybody. That change helped give this team time to grow and improve each week. We’re now 5-0 and ranked #8.
September 30th, 2007 at 5:54 pm
Rich Brooks deserves this. Think about the scrutiny he has undergone while trying to build our program back up from basically nothing. Thanks Coach !!!!!! this is great !!!!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 6:01 pm
Boo Ticketmaster. Hooray Beer!
September 30th, 2007 at 6:02 pm
At 31 and a lifelong Wildcat fan. I honestly don’t remember being this excited about UK athletics…
outside the ‘96 bball campaign, which was truly one for the ages.
For the record, I am predicting all pistons fire on Thursday night and we make a statement win for this
team and the program on national TV and another “first” is enjoyed for Brooks and the Cats, as we beat
The Visor 47-31.
GBB!!!!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 6:03 pm
i can’t wait for thursday night. has the LSU game been confirmed to be the SEC 3:30 game of the week on october 13?
September 30th, 2007 at 6:04 pm
I camped out at memorial and was told people would come around and give out vouchers in the morning, but long before that a chaotic rush started to form and there was no security or organization to stop it. So many people who had been there for so long were getting passed over and i thought it was going to get crazy. The university dropped the ball on this one, they should have anticipated something like this and had more people there, because there was no one there. It was a disaster and i am never going back, and for all the people who showed up and cut in front of everyone, F**K YOU.
September 30th, 2007 at 6:19 pm
we need jennings…..badly
September 30th, 2007 at 6:22 pm
Kentucky football #8, UNBELIEVABLE!!! I’m in a dream and I don’t want to wake up. Just for giggles, if Kentucky should win out, playing for a national championship is possible. I can’t believe I just said that!!
September 30th, 2007 at 6:24 pm
Kentucky is ranked above Florida!!
September 30th, 2007 at 6:24 pm
UK will lose their next three games and at Georgia.
Matt is on crack to think they figure into the SEC East race. Matt, you are an idiot as usual.
September 30th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
I have it from a reliable
source that David Shelton and
4 of his A-hole buddies from
Atlanta will be at MM screaming
racial insults at the recruits.
September 30th, 2007 at 6:37 pm
Think about this. What IF we beat South Carolina this week and what IF Florida beats LSU? Could you imagine?…holding our own destiny as the ONLY undefeated team left in the SEC…wow. Talk about getting a week of legitimate R-E-S-P-E-C-T with over a week to prepare prior to LSU…just, wow.
Not to get ahead of myself, but I can’t wait for the LSU (formerly known as “madness”) weekend. I was at that UK/USC game last year and, after running into Matt and Turkey Hunter in the parking lot prior to their recent successes (way to go guys- much props), UK hung tight. It came down to UK chucking a hail mary pass. Considering our confidence/improvement and more physical play…I like our chances over the ole ball coach.
September 30th, 2007 at 6:39 pm
Newbill, you’re the idiot. Save it until or if we lose. We are on top of the East right now.
September 30th, 2007 at 6:39 pm
You are an idiot to bet against this Kentucky team. I have experienced many a heartache at the expense of Kentucky football. You can sense the intangibles that this team possesses and that something special is going to happen. They are talented on both sides of the ball and display such poise on the field. This team truly believes they will win each game. There is no team in the SEC East to fear, they have all shown signs of vulnerability. Boast loudly UK fans, you have most definitely earned the right for your years of faithful devotion. GO BIG BLUE!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 6:39 pm
#22, are you sure you’re not Paul Dickbill?
September 30th, 2007 at 6:51 pm
Are these really kenucky fans that are saying we will lose the next 3 games? If so I dont want them, they can go cheer for someone else!
September 30th, 2007 at 7:18 pm
#18 - same here. I couldn’t believe what was going on. I really hate it for the people that were there for so long - in line - and stuck by their tent while the line formed, waiting for the vouchers in their location like they were told.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:18 pm
Thanks ticketmaster. I got up at 5:45 a.m. my time to buy tickets, tried for 30 minutes to get them, and then find out they screwed it up. Ended up with zero tickets although I was ready to buy them online the second they went on sale. Oh well, I know I’m not alone. Either way, congrats Cats on a workmanlike victory and lets get in Spurrier’s ass.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:24 pm
When I go see UK in the SEC championship game in Atlanta, my momma will be for rent at $5.00 per hour
at the stadium restrooms.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:25 pm
I read where Florida will not have a midnight madness this year. Billy Donovan feels it is too hard on the fans. Instead they will have a fan appreciation day later in the month. Good thing he didn’t come to UK. It would be a disservice to fans who absolutely love that one Midnight day.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:26 pm
I admit I am one of the few living abortions- besides David Shelton.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:30 pm
I cant wait to go to jail- David Shelton requested we bunk up. I got him a blonde wig and makeup so he will look real
nice in the bullpin for the peeps.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:34 pm
A little bit of realism. We’ve only played one SEC game, and not one team in our half of the conference.
We are first by default at this point. Lets take it one game at a time. While “we” don’t play, if we build the hype too big, there is going to be quite the vacuum created, if and when we lose. No need to turn a disappointment into a prolonged losing streak because of irrational fandom.
September 30th, 2007 at 7:40 pm
I can give the #1 ranked Blow Job in the Commonwealth!!
September 30th, 2007 at 7:59 pm
35. Irrational fandom? Fan is short for fanatic. Man, you worry too much. You just shouldn’t temper your excitement for fear of disappointment.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:06 pm
I know Paul Newbill, and he is no Bill Keightly my friend.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:07 pm
Where is K.I.G.E(Khromosome* Impaired Gelatenous Entity)?
September 30th, 2007 at 8:22 pm
White Castle Challenge 2007 Odds:
K.I.G.E at 4/1
Keightley at 3/5
2006 Champ at 3/1
Field at 2/1
Turkey Hunter at 100/1
Intern to be named later at 250/1
Transy Sorority Girl at 10/1
Centre Sorority Girl at 4/1
September 30th, 2007 at 8:24 pm
I’ll be the judge o’ that #36.
Bubba
September 30th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
23- Well I hope they are ready to get an ass- kicking. You think any fans in that place will not deck them the second they pull such a stunt. And I’d love to see them in jail for being idiots.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:29 pm
I have no proof or plan on producing any, but Gillispie just won’t put up with coaching at a school without good football being played. Thanks Coach!
September 30th, 2007 at 8:30 pm
I know this isn’t really the place for personal reflections but bear with me a bit on this:
Today I cried when I saw the rankings. All I could think was that I wished my father was here to see this team. The last night I spent with him this spring, this was what we talked about. April 28th, my daughter’s second birthday, I ran the mini-marathon in Louisville and then that night my father and I sat up talking, watching the draft, talking about UK football and it’s possibilities. He was so excited. He had raised me as a UK football fan, taking me to games, explaining the nuances, relating to me the history (I’m a 39 year old female).
He had had season tickets since the 1950’s. He loved both football and basketball–he had been to Penn State in ‘77, to the Peach Bowl, the Outback Bowl, as well as to numerous NCAA basketball tournaments, to Hawaii with the team, etc. but he loved his football Cats. He was so optimistic, every year somehow.
You can see what is coming…he died 10 days later of a sudden stroke. I knew then that this season would be special–since he had lived through all the last minute losses, the heartbreak, the agony of being a long-time UK football fan…he would miss out on the good times–the fates are sometimes cruel in that way.
However, he left me with all those memories too but I can’t help but wish he was here to celebrate with me, to talk to before and after (and during) games. He and I compared notes, discussed everything we heard, thought about the decisions made, and even what was going on on this darn website…he was a great friend and a great dad (and granddad). I miss him so much but these kinds of things make the success somewhat bittersweet for me. Tonight my daughter is sleeping with her grandfather’s UK football hat.
I’m not sure why I needed to share this but I did today–I know it doesn’t fit in with the general tone here but…I’m sorry. For those of you who have been through this (and I know it’s a lot), you probably understand. I don’t have him to talk to right now–it’s hard. Thanks for listening and Go Cats!
September 30th, 2007 at 8:32 pm
Until the football teams wins a championship, even an SEC crown, basketball will always remain “King of the Bluegrass.”
I approve this message,
Bubba
September 30th, 2007 at 8:35 pm
September 30th,
Don’t you worry — I gotta feeling your dad is watching Andre and the Cats every second of every game this year.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:35 pm
opps, I meant econ prof
September 30th, 2007 at 8:37 pm
I have another theory. Let me run it up the flagpole here. The national media are going to start pushing more for Andre to win the Heisman because of the mindset that it’s close to impossible for our team to be this good without a Heisman candidate. Kind of like a back-handed complement.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:38 pm
#45 - Thanks.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:41 pm
I started camping out Thursday evening. My sons and I camp out every year, and every year there are
people that show up Saturday morning and cut in front of those camping out. This year was worse than
ever.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:44 pm
As a man that has shagged his fair share of back-handed comments and knows a thing or dozen about running successfull campaignes, I say that this Woodson is absolutley a Heisman caliber player. I know all about what it takes to be a player, especially with thick ankled pasty sorority chicks.
Bubba
September 30th, 2007 at 8:48 pm
I’m still trying to get Big Blue Madness tickets off of Ticketmaster.com
September 30th, 2007 at 8:48 pm
#45 symbolizes all that is true and just about the UK fan base. All comedy aside, God bless your father’s legacy in you.
Again, I’m Bubba and I approve this sentiment.
September 30th, 2007 at 9:06 pm
I hope like hell we get Jennings. If he comes too BBM, I feel he’s ours to lose. It doesn’t seem like we have that much competition for him either.
September 30th, 2007 at 9:10 pm
#31 What’s up with the David Shelton hate? Random. And cowardly.
September 30th, 2007 at 9:11 pm
Thanks 45, for what may well be the best entry in the history of this site. It sums up what it means to be a part of our little ‘ole BBN……
September 30th, 2007 at 9:12 pm
I’d like to take this opportunity to say that the other David Shelton doesn’t have anything to do with good, decent Dave Sheltons like myself. I don’t even like Atlanta.
September 30th, 2007 at 9:14 pm
#45- Amen sister
September 30th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
# 17 if uk beats usc then it has been discussed that espn college gameday will be in lex. for #1 verses #5 or so
September 30th, 2007 at 9:15 pm
# 45 He is smiling!
September 30th, 2007 at 9:16 pm
I’m going to give the ‘Ole Ball Coach one hell of a noogy at midfield after we walk off victorouis Thurdsday night. Wesley and the boys are going to make his QB cry for the insults he threw our way. CATS 45 - cocks 31
September 30th, 2007 at 9:28 pm
#45…That was a touching story. Makes me proud to be a UK fan because of those like your father, have an undying loyalty and love for this state and university.
Thank you for sharing your story.
I bet your father had some nice stories to tell about the Wildcats from back in the day.
Take care.
September 30th, 2007 at 9:29 pm
45 - very, very nice. We need more fans like your dad!!!!!!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 9:30 pm
Thanks 45
September 30th, 2007 at 9:46 pm
Econ Prof, I had a similiar relationship with my father who passed away 7 years ago. At his euology, I asked Dad to get some heavenly help for our football team and I think he finally has pulled a few strings up in Heaven to garner this #8 ranking! Let’s face it,we Cat fans have stuck by our team regardless if they are ranked #108 or #8, so I am happiest for the players and the coaching staff who have worked so hard to achieve this goal. Way to go Cats!!
I thrilled to see that Jennings has UK in his Top 5 and that UL is no where in sight! Gotta believe we are in his Top 2 with the inordinate amount of playing time at his postion that UK has to offer. Compound that with the fact we have the talent for a NCAA championship run, Jennings shouldn’t have that hard of a decision– he should be a CAT!
September 30th, 2007 at 10:04 pm
Hey Matt,
See if you can get the CEO of ticketmaster on the show this week and have him explain why his technical and marketing departments are a bunch of tards for not having a back up plan “IN THE EVENT” their website could not handle the mass that is BIG BLUE NATION. I do not know about the rest of you but I plan on letting them know about my frustation.
Jennings would be a huge get, to be honset I’m shocked UofL isn’t in that group but extremely happy we are.
Congrats to the gridiron cats, keep on keeping on guys…..
September 30th, 2007 at 10:33 pm
Looks like the Cocks are favored by 4 points Thursday night … I think this game is going to be TIGHT down to the wire … you know Spurrier is going to try everything he can to run up the score, but I think he gets too “cute” in this one and the Cats shock him on national television.
I just want to see him throw the visor a few times and have to walk to midfield to shake Rich Brooks’ hand in defeat!!!
We will win this game. This UK team will NOT be denied.
September 30th, 2007 at 10:47 pm
hey, jerry sexton did u get bbm tickets sat.
September 30th, 2007 at 10:53 pm
When I am bent over, I have a huge smile.
September 30th, 2007 at 11:11 pm
Why are all these USC fans talking smack? I mean their football in the grand scheme of things, has done
nothing. All time losing record in their history…. a total joke in the SEC…. hire Lou “blonde faggot”
Holtz….I mean come on- you guys suck. And ur basketball? You guys suck even worse. How you wannabes
hire Dave “Yoda” Odom as ur pathetic coach is beyond me. I mean seriously, that dude looks like Yoda.
I guess u little girls think when u win the NIT every year u are the shit. LMAO Get a clue- although
I will say ur nickname fits perfectly- you are nothing but a bunch of cocks.
September 30th, 2007 at 11:14 pm
#45, you depressed me Way to go. You downer. WAH WAH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
September 30th, 2007 at 11:24 pm
I enjoyed reading your story econ prof. My papaw (who’s first name is ironically Woodson) passed away last June, so he missed seeing two exciting football seasons, as well as the hire of an exciting new basketball coach, which will hopefully mean a step in the right direction for our b-ball team. If it weren’t for him, my family would probably be wearing that hideous Tennessee orange. He’s originally from Benham, KY but moved down here to Kingsport, TN when he was young. It’s crazy how many special times my family has had over the years watching and rooting for the Cats. I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
September 30th, 2007 at 11:24 pm
# 45 I am only 35 and I know how your dad felt. When I was 8 I started pop warner football, and I developed a great love for the Wildcats. I used to sit up and watch the delayed games already knowing we lost by 50,I didnt miss a game. There is no one my age that can say they loved the football cats as much as me. In the face of scrutiny and ridicule I stood strong in my commitment to the football team. I love U.K and I will bleed blue and I will die a diehard U.K fan. God bless your dad and God bless you.

October 1st, 2007 at 12:50 am
Anon) That was an absolutely classless thing to say, I hope you never have to endure the pain of losing someone close to you. Its a good thing that you’re hiding behind an anonymous name & computer; shows what a coward & insensitive piece of
sh!t you are. Unbelievable that you can be so crass.
Econ Prof) I’m so glad you shared that story, it was very touching & shows exactly why being a Wildcat is such a special thing. It might help to think that UK football is the way that your Dad is “talking” to you, looking over you & letting you know that everything will be OK. Use these games/UK to keep your father’s legacy alive within yourself.
October 1st, 2007 at 1:12 am
Jennings and perhaps Singleton mean amazing things for UK Basketball, if they end up here.

Do you really thing Gamecock tastes like chicken?
October 1st, 2007 at 6:17 am
Great story #45. I am 48 years old and a life long die hard UK fan graduating from there in 1981. When my two children were younger, we had season tickets and had great weekends spending time at Commonwealth Stadium for the football games. Those are great memories. My daughter graduates this year from UK and is applying to medical school and my son plans to go their in a couple of years. I know exactly how you father felt, he wanted to instill in you the love and passion he had for UK and the strong fanily bond that comes with it. Appears he was quite successful! A man lives through the memories of his loved ones. The next time you talk to him in your prayers, tell him thanks from all us UK fanatics because he obviously has some strong pull with the big guy. God Bless You!
October 1st, 2007 at 8:07 am
I was one that was up at 7am on a Saturday morning to get those tickets online, tried for a half an hour straight, once, finally gave up only to come home hours later and find out what happened, let me just say I was not very happy
October 1st, 2007 at 9:15 am
Hey–Thanks all for the kind words. I can’t wait to see what happens on Thursday night…
And, if it weren’t for #72, we wouldn’t know we were at KSR…that seems appropriate for some of the posters here (as this long time lurker, occasional poster would know).
October 1st, 2007 at 9:17 am
And of course, I meant ky sports radio by KSR…sorry.
October 1st, 2007 at 9:25 am
ok, Econ Prof — we need two predictions from you — first — is a recession on the way — and secondly — your score for THE GAME Thurs?
October 1st, 2007 at 9:31 am
The ticket screw up really took some wind out of the obsession I have had all summer about the upcoming basketball season. I could have made it down there but decided not to make the trip to Lexington since WE WERE TOLD, tickets were available online. Bitter but it will go away, guess I will have to settle with being a die hard Cats fan from Louisville…
October 1st, 2007 at 9:38 am
Wow. I was smokin’ pi33ed off Saturday morning. Unbelieveable.
October 1st, 2007 at 9:49 am
I find it funny as hell. The people who went to work and went to class and otherwise lead productive lives bumrushed the campers and got the tickets. Karma, anyone? It pisses me off to know that grown adults have no problem with wasting three days camping where there is no scenery or even woods just to get tickets. If I was a professor/boss and I learned that you missed my class(es)/work to go camp out for tickets, your ass would so fail/be fired. Have fun watching it on TV just like I do every year.
October 1st, 2007 at 9:50 am
BTW- the online ticket thing, I do understand the anger there. It’s the camping thing I find funny.
October 1st, 2007 at 9:58 am
South Carolina is gonna get beat like a red headed step child thursday nite. Boy, is it gonna be fun
watching the Cats kick their asses!
October 1st, 2007 at 10:02 am
Mumbler, has it ever occurred to you that maybe those who are camping thinks it’s funny that people actually are at work when they could be camping? I don’t give a damn what anyone else does for amusement or vacation perhaps, it just shows how big of fans they are to me. Just like when someone goes shirtless at Lambeau Field, some call it crazy, I call them A BIGGER FAN THAN I. Some people would argue that it is stupid to watch it on TV when they could see it live.
October 1st, 2007 at 10:03 am
As to veepers questions:
I’m concerned about a recession–things are not looking good all over but I’ve been concerned before and nothing has happened (primarily when looking at US debt both household and government) but this might be the time. On the other hand…(a little econ humor, such as it is)
As to more important matters, I’m starting to believe (even though history would tell one not too–I’m also a Cubs fan). I think the Cats pull out a nail-biter against Visor..27-24?
October 1st, 2007 at 10:06 am
UK 21
SC 17
October 1st, 2007 at 10:08 am
oh no…why did you say you were a Cubs fan, too…
October 1st, 2007 at 10:21 am
It would be huge if UK goes into South Carlonia, beats a good team,
on Thursday Night Football, and on ESPN!!!
The Wildcat in me knows UK will pull the upset. Yes UK will more than
likely be the underdog playing at South Carlonia.
However, the realistic man in me, thinks that South Carlonia wins
If UK beats USC, I bet UK losses no more than 4 games this year.
In terms of recruiting it would be huge.
What UK needs more than anything right now is for UofL to start winning
and starting winning big time games. UK also needs Arkansas to start winning
SEC games.
There is still at highly ranked RB looking at UK. I know UK needs defense,
OL men, and a highly ranked QB but UK needs whatever it can get in terms of talent.
Beat USC and things start turning around for UK in recruiting.
GO BIG BLUE!!!!

Econ Prof — good read on the economy — let’s talk about Greenspan some day:) As for the Cats — my best judgement is 40-30 with the game being close until the 4th quarter and woodson pulls it out.

I’ll give 1.00 for upper seats. I had lower level season tickets last year and cant stand the thoughts of sitting in the upper deck. I have been spoiled.

I am so glad for the CATS. This season though is similar to Vanderbilt maybe 2 or 3 years ago. They started out 5-0 I think and ended up losing all the rest. I dont think it will happen to us, but everyone is out to get us now– kinda of scary

I heard from somewhere, and I continue to look for it in print, the Schnellenberger said that UK would win 2 out of the next 3…Remember, there was a time when UK did not blow out an FAU team…

Give me your feedback–if UK wins out the rest of the season (please dont laugh)– are we considered for the championship game? We would have to be right?

I was called last night by a buddy of mine.
He gave me 4 BBM tickets. I don’t know why everyone had such a problem getting tickets?
No ill effects here!

92- lol, I concede that my life does not revolve around everything UK and that you are the bigger fan. I have no problem with that. BTW- I have a paycheck to show for those 3 days…what do you have to show besides some peachfuzz, a possible hangover and some mosquito bites?

103, Ain’t gonna happen. We would need to beat UF, UT, and LSU twice
October 1st, 2007 at 11:06 am
We are definitely over rated and ranked much too high. Should
be 14-15 range until we actually beat someone.
Take care of USC and then talk higher ranks. We could easily get
killed the next 3 games and be unranked just that quick.

I dont see the big deal about the BBM tickets. I got up at 6 am waited till 7 tried to get them and then found out they had a problem. SD what did i do I stayed by my computer and ever minute or so refreshed until it worked then by about 845 I was able to get in and order my tickets, yea it took a little work but dont complaing about it if you didnt keep trying. If you really wanted the tickets you could have got them, im not the only one that did this, i know several others that got them this way too. And you cant blame ne one for that its computers they will crash time to time, i think they did a good job of getting it fixed right away. Now to the camping issue, i think its kinda lame that they dont have more security making sure people dont cut line but then in fact we’re all suppose to be adults here and do things the right way, its just sad to see grown people still act like a 6 year old at lunch time. I think it would be easier honestly to have it all done online since they tickets are free. THat way they dont have the whole thing of cutting line and all that going on, plus cheaper and easier on them there for it is really on a first come first serve basis.

I was up at 7 to get BBM tickets. Was denied for the first hour and a half, then at 830 was able to get through and got 4 tickets. They are upper level, but who cares. This was the BBM that I did not want to miss. What a great weekend it will be, madness friday and the cats upsetting LSU on Saturday. Its going to be a special weekend.

Same here i waited for my tickets and were able to get them, yes they are upper level but im in the house thats all that matters. This will be a weekend that will go down in history for UK faithful. Thats why i am taking my little kids with me so that they too can enjoy a great weekend of UK athletics and see what its all about at its finest, and lexington at its finest as well.
