Great day at Commonwealth Stadium as the Cats beat the Owls, 42-17 behind another great performance by Andre Woodson. Micah Johnson scored a touchdown, Rafeal Little got tough yards and even Lones Seiber made a kick…..it was a great day! The only downside is that we sat close to Lee Todd and he refused to do the wave. More on the game later…..including the mess that was the Midnight Madness online distribution.

GOOD FOR LEE TODD!!! THE WAVE SUCKS! ILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY SOME FANS ARE MORE INTERESTED IN GETTING THE WAVE GOING THEN THE ACTION ON THE FIELD.
September 29th, 2007 at 6:34 pm
It’s not just the midnight maddess online distrobution that was a mess. Have you heard how everyone that was camping got screwed when waiting in line? We were given vouchers and told that garenteed us a place at the front of the line. BS!! AT 4:00AM noncampers started to arrive and just walked up to the start of the line and got to keep their spots. Needless to say people who had been camping since Wednesday lost thier spot in line to the newcomers. THIS WAS THE WOREST LACK OF LEADERSHIP, LACK OF ORGINIZATION AND OUTRIGHT LIES I HAVE EVER WITNESS AT SUCH AN EVENT!!!!
September 29th, 2007 at 6:35 pm
I bet Lee Tee would say “1st” either!….Big win and game for Woodson. He’s all over the other games(just on Ala./Fla St.) with Heisman talk. Vern Lundquist is on it.
September 29th, 2007 at 6:36 pm

***************Sensitive-Classified Information****************
Many years back, the best scientists from Arkansas(seriuosly, Arkansas) were secretly assembled to create a sentient artificial life form, a.k.a cyborg, to be assimilated into enemy institutions for various covert ops. Their creation: K.I.G.E(Khromozome Impaired Gelatenous Entity). Note, the spelling of the acronym has Ozarkian creative license for sure. Anyhow, we inserted this cyborg into a community base that would interact readily with his slack jawed communication systems, eastern Kentucky baby. The true test was to upload propoganda into the internet via YouTube.com targeting the most knowedgeable and passionate fan base the world has come to know, Big Blue Nation. His widespread success and fandom has proved effectual and will be reproduced to covert missions abroad. God’s speed K.I.G.E(seriously as if a real person would have a name like that given at birth)!

I sure hope Brooks isn’t going to turn “nice” on our score in the future. The one thing I like about this team has been the fact that they always try to score. We should have scored more points, period. 45 points is fine, but Johnson’s interception was the reason. I guess ya have to complain about something when you’re a UK fan. The
Car s (They have no “d”, so I left it out) fans will be touting a BCS bowl now that they beat an ACC doormat.
Congrats to the Cats for going 5-0 and to Andre for his record and the 5 touchdowns. We have a tough game Thursday. I hope we can set another milestone by beating Visor Boy.
September 29th, 2007 at 7:07 pm
Yes, I recycle. Prepare for wisecrackin’ press conferences featuring the OBC. Over/Under on the number of times he says, “It’s ’still’ Kentucky….” Kenneth Starr, Bin-Laden, Limbaugh, and SPURRIER. That’s pretty much my A’hole List these days. Whoooo pig soooey, GO CATS!
I approve this message,

Sorry, accidently clicked submit before I was done.
The following have teams ranked ahead of UK have lost:
#3 Oklahoma
#5 West Virginia
#7 Texas
#6 California and #11 Oregon are playing each other so someone loses that one.
#13 Clemson
#10 Rutgers looks like they will lose
Got to like UK’s chances of possibly cracking the top 10!
September 29th, 2007 at 7:10 pm
They’re still Kentucky!
September 29th, 2007 at 7:17 pm
Good point #5, but isn’t this the same “President” that gets booed during his own home games? Even W would say Todd and the Big Blue Nation have a real disconnection.
September 29th, 2007 at 7:28 pm
uk is a top ten team…..in football!!!!
September 29th, 2007 at 7:35 pm
Kentucky should get a very nice bowl game this year. How many days to MNMadness? How about 12? This new coaching staff will be absolutely be in awe.AWESOME, BABY!!!!!
September 29th, 2007 at 7:36 pm
The wave has sucked for 1985. Get your stuff together MJ. If you were the Intern you would be getting lambasted right now for talking about the wave during a football game.
September 29th, 2007 at 7:38 pm
Um…the wave is stupid. Especially when we’re setting up for 4th and 1. Kinda like last time when we had an injured player on the field when the wave started. Finally Lee Todd did something right…
September 29th, 2007 at 7:38 pm
How come the score is always posted wrong after the game?….42-17?
September 29th, 2007 at 7:39 pm
Be ready to enjoy a player named Locke for the next three years anyway. He is going to be sensational if he doesn’t get injured. Almost everytime he gets the ball he gets yardage.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:03 pm
Ticked off at Ticketmaster? Let UKAA know… here’s a contact list:
http://www.ukathletics.com/index.php?s=&url_article_id=11338&change_we ll_id=2#ticket
I’m not upset about the sell out, nor would I be upset if they only sold tickets at the UK ticket office. But dammit, if they say Ticketmaster will have tickets for BBM available, then I should at least have a shot at ‘em. Ticketmaster Sux … I’m gonna screenprint that on a t-shirt!
September 29th, 2007 at 8:08 pm
Yep the online distribution was a sham I sat up from 6 30AM saturday logged on at 7 AM to find out that there were no tickets to be found. Then to my surprise amazingly from ukathletics.com the message said that ticketmaster was working at 8 45AM well no it wasnt not for me anyway so I kept trying and trying then to no avail the next post at 9 30 states that all tickets had been distributed now I just wonder what little pocket of Kentucky got to grab those tickets. Well im not sure but it wasnt in Southeastern Kentucky. In conclusion I think they may have sent them all to mars for Lee Todd’s cousins.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:10 pm
6 teams ranked ahead of the Cats lose. TOP 10 anyone?!
September 29th, 2007 at 8:12 pm
Locke should share some more touches with his blazing speed Go Cats!
September 29th, 2007 at 8:14 pm
I hate the wave and like #23 was not happy when people started it while one of our players was injured.
Also, I don’t feel bad for anyone within 30 miles of Lexington who was too lazy to get out of bed, put some pants on and head to campus to buy BBM tickets. Now you can be lazy at home on the 12th while I enjoy the show.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:20 pm
I have 20 tickets for sale MM,anyone interested $35 each.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:32 pm
#31 stfu
September 29th, 2007 at 8:33 pm
#27–You and me did the same thing. But I never saw anything saying tix were going to be available at 8:45 cause I have been out of town all frickin week and was tired and went back to bed. Ticketmaster is probably to blame here…..Let’s all do the Pearl Jam and screw them over all we can. I even took October 12 off work so I could drive to Lex! Dang it I’m pissed! Going to leave some comments for some one somewhere. Like that will do any good…..But I’ll get it off my chest.
September 29th, 2007 at 8:53 pm
pretty good game today the only thing that bothered me was everyone was still talking about Loserville. LET IT GO PEOPLE!!!!!
September 29th, 2007 at 9:01 pm
You know that Ticketmaster STILL doesn’t show BBM as a sell out? Anyone wondering what it was like this morning can go there and see. It is still doing what it did at 7 a.m.
I sent the UK ticket office a nice calm e-mail requesting tickets for next year’s BBM. I hope they like sarcasm.
What stinks is this is my daughter’s b-day. She wanted to go to this. She’s 16, so she understands, but still. Hard to disappoint a kid.

September 29th, 2007 at 9:31 pm
First of all, Lee Todd does right by UK better than any president in any posters lifetime.
The man is booed by backward hick sheep from the hills that do whatever the drunk frat guy
in front of them is doing because they think it makes them cool. I have yet to hear one legitmate
“issue” that fan should have with the guy, so much that he needs to be booed at home games. It’s
sad, truly sad. No one even knows what they are booing. That guy cares more about educating the children
of the retards that boo him, than they do themselves.
Get a life jackasses.
September 29th, 2007 at 9:42 pm
Let’s move Big Blue Madness to Commonwealth Stadium and put a floor out on the field. We’d fill it up, no problem.
September 29th, 2007 at 9:51 pm
those who camp out for bbm tix are losers…. come on. seriously…camping out for a scrimmage? whether you got the tix or not, bunch of dorks.
September 29th, 2007 at 9:54 pm
I HEARD after Woodson’s interception the Commonwealth crowd gave Andre’ a standing O? True?
September 29th, 2007 at 9:56 pm
dem cats are da trufh! bring on lsu!
September 29th, 2007 at 10:07 pm
Amen to #38.
41, there was solid applause for Andre, mostly standing…kind of a golf clap.
September 29th, 2007 at 10:12 pm
Come get your beating.
September 29th, 2007 at 10:24 pm
#40 It’s the fact that it’s ridiculous that makes it so special. It’s not just camping out to get to see the first practice. It’s making a statement to the nation that we’re willing to go to great lengths to support our team. It’s telling everyone else, INCLUDING RECRUITS, that our loyalty has no limits. Why do you think we book multiple recruits to come in for midnight madness? Because Rupp will be filled with the same fans who left in the third quarter of today’s football game? No. They bring them in because it will be screaming with those fans that don’t have the money, connections, and luck it takes to sit on one’s butt all season and then tell the players every night, “I appreciate and support you, but not enough to sit in traffic.” Camping out for madness is one of the few chances these fans get to tell the players, “Hey, thanks for all your hard work. And I do support you, and I would even sacrifice a couple days of my time if that’s what it takes to be able to show you that.” These are true fans, and if you’re going to denigrate them for showing pride and appreciation for our team, then you need to evaluate your own passion for the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
September 29th, 2007 at 10:35 pm
43…not sure what game you were at, but it was definitely a standing O! Made me proud to be among fans who knew what the hell was going on!
September 29th, 2007 at 10:37 pm
Slogan for this year’s offense:
Give it to Little
Up the middle!
It seems like he gets positive yardage EVERY time.
September 29th, 2007 at 10:41 pm
Tamme’s always open!
Me!!!!!!!!!
September 29th, 2007 at 10:41 pm
45, i couldnt agree with you more…camping out for midnight madness tickets its part of UK basketball…….its one of the many things that sets us apart from the others…..
September 29th, 2007 at 10:41 pm
yes 41.. its true
September 29th, 2007 at 10:48 pm
Lee Todd has plenty to be booed about. Like a 60% increase in tuition over the last 5 years and zero improvement in the university rankings to justify it.
September 29th, 2007 at 10:56 pm
they scored 45!!! duh
and its rafael not rafeal
September 29th, 2007 at 11:00 pm
KUDOS to LEE TODD. The wave is for women who have no clue what the hell they are watching and wouldn’t know a TD from a HR.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:04 pm
60% decrease in tuition but a significant increase in student quality, including more governor’s scholars and valedictorians. Those who criticize Lee Todd are likely the caliber of intelligence that got “the thin envelope” instead of the acceptance package. If you can’t recognize the guy for being the best president the school has ever had(and future governor if he chooses) then you should stay a little more up to date on UK facts and figures. Oh, and being booed should be a badge of honor considering the crap making up a large part of the present fans. He’s laughing all the way to the bank, not to mention up the university reputation ladder.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:26 pm
Seiber is going to lose us a game. His kicking is unacceptable.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:42 pm

September 29th, 2007 at 11:54 pm
Gaytors lost!!!!!!!!! Cats are on top of the east, now we MUST beat USC!
September 30th, 2007 at 12:17 am
I wasted a whole morning trying to get BBM tix. I have never spelled so many freakin’ made up words in all my life just so it could search and say no tickets found. Then I go for an early barber visit (7:55AM) and on the way home (8:50AM)I hear that Ticketwaster was screwed up and there was still a chance for tix. I log back on (9:15AM) but the website is still down. So I call ticketwaster and they say you can’t get BBM tickets through their automated system, so I wait for a customer service rep for 10 minutes. She tells me that there are still some tickets left but I have to go to a Ticketwaster location, by this time it is 9:30AM. I go to Kroger and the little pissant guy there tells me their sold out already. So why did ticketwaster tell me to go if it was already sold out?? How could this situation have been any more screwed up?? The worst part of it is I work 3rd shift, so I got to bed around 3:30AM and got up at 6:50AM just to get screwed and I didn’t even get kissed!! And you know Ticketwaster isn’t going to do anything about it. F#*% TICKETWASTER!!!
September 30th, 2007 at 12:52 am
I thought the score was 45-17.

One of the College Gameday Wrap-up guys put UK in his Top 5. I don’t think we’ll do that nationally (this week) but we could break 10 given all the losses this week
September 30th, 2007 at 1:34 am
Skip Madness (boring as hell-even this year) and go to the Blue/White game.
September 30th, 2007 at 1:49 am
UKLS, had you a clue about running a University, you would know that state funding is the primary reason why tuition has gone up along with the battle to make faculty salaries comparable to benchmark institutions; name me a public institution that has not seen similar increases in tuition
September 30th, 2007 at 2:12 am
45 - 17 guys… not to be a douche but yeah we did get a feildgoal at the end (before MJ’s int. return)
September 30th, 2007 at 11:20 am
#30 What an ass. Laziness has nothing to do with it. I had prior commitments with my daughter playing in a basketball tourney. And yes, some of us have a job that demands we work and not camp out for 3 days to get BBM tix. I’m all for those that can camp out, I’m not upset it sold out, and I think tix should first go to those that wait in line. What pisses me off is the assurance from UK and ticketmaster that tix would be available come 7:00 a.m. online, and that was backed up with ticketmaster’s unfailing arrogance and f’ed up distribution system. I’ve been screwed by Ticketmaster before on concerts and this is yet another reason UK should boot their ass!
