[Moderated by Matt Jones]

I am off to Lexington for the big affair between the Cats and the grey moustached man from Florida. Use this thread to predict the score and discuss the activities. I got the Cats by 21, 42-21…..who you got?

UK by 30 points. And in another matter, Loserville is searching for a conference in which they can field
a competitive team. Sources say the OVC was contacted, but Coach Krapthorpe and “Rogaine” Rick thought it would
be too tough to win there consistently. Therefore, Loserville is making plans to play as an independent
and schedule teams like Centre, Kentucky Country Day, Pikeville College, and Shawnee to gain a 50/50 chance
of getting a winning record. Word is Jurich is trying to schedule as many games as possible near prison facilities
to make the travelling logistics easier.

No Midnight Madness coverage? What kind of UK blog is this? You have a whole crew of dudes. Someone should at least mention it.
I was a little disapointed this year. I saw neither hide nor hair of players or coach while waiting in line. In preivous years they at least showed up. Last year the passed out doughnuts. I missed my doughnut.

11) It has been great to be on here when you kids are in school.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:38 am
my guess at the score is UK-38 FAU-13
September 29th, 2007 at 11:42 am
#13 I agree with you since school has started a lot of good sports conversation on here.
But remember tscats is just a little kid so don’t be so hard on him. UK 41 FAU 27
September 29th, 2007 at 11:43 am
UK wins 52-17.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:47 am
15) I agree with you but I did not say anything against him personally. I just hate when these little kids are on here.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:47 am
Brooks will play a lot of his second team players in the second half, but UK still romps 38-14.
September 29th, 2007 at 11:54 am
Definitely hope UK gets out to a sizable lead and Brooks plays the 2nd team to rest the starters for the South Carolina game.
September 29th, 2007 at 12:03 pm
You know my pick.
September 29th, 2007 at 12:04 pm
im gonna say UK 52-17……..but the 1st string D only gives up a field goal……..Is there anywhere on the internet to watch the game?
September 29th, 2007 at 12:10 pm
cats- 42 walruses team- 20
September 29th, 2007 at 12:37 pm
i hate grown up’s uk 42-19
September 29th, 2007 at 12:44 pm
The odds of FAU winning are slightly better than my chances at shagging a lil’ state of New York, junior senator “dome” this afternoon.
Cats by 27.
Over/Under on Keightly’s bourbon shot intake by the final gun today anyone?
September 29th, 2007 at 1:08 pm
UK by 31
September 29th, 2007 at 1:27 pm
42-17 UK
September 29th, 2007 at 1:41 pm
what is up with UKs Defense. I know we are not deep but we have playmakers.
Question to all UK FANS:
What is wrong with Micah Johsnon?
Is he overrated?
I don’t think so he has the speed and tremendous size for a LB. I just don’t
get it
September 29th, 2007 at 1:44 pm
Little - the most underrated player when the national media talks about UK.
I wish they wouldn’t run him so much. I like how Joker shares the ball between
3-4 RB but I wish UK go ahead and use all 5 quality backs we have. UK absolutley wore
Arkansas out with the running game.
Also who agrees that Locke is going to be a stud at UK?
September 29th, 2007 at 1:53 pm
24 - Over Keightley by 23. 15 shots.
I’m going with UK 38, FAU 14.
September 29th, 2007 at 1:54 pm
I am severely pissed at the ticket distribution today. I was on my computer at 7 a.m. and tried for 30 minutes to get tickets. Now I find out they had technical problems…..Nothing on the Ticketmaster site or the UK Athletics site at 7 or 7:30 about it. So I crashed and awoke to find out they did it at 8:45……Matt, who can I direct my ire at? Is this a UK problem or is it frickin TM? My daughter was jacked at the possibility of going. We went last year and she was thrilled. When you can find something wholesome a 16 year-old wants to do, you try to do it, yes?? Oh, I’m mad…..
September 29th, 2007 at 1:54 pm
I just hope we can get a huge lead before halftime so Joker can take the starters
out midway through the 3rd quarter. Plus it will allow Brooks to try some new
things on defense.
September 29th, 2007 at 1:57 pm
Johnson is very good against the run… His pass coverage skills will improve with time…
September 29th, 2007 at 2:00 pm
Is Jarmon only a sophmore.
Good lord, this defense is going to kill us one of these days. Luckly our defense
plays really well in the 2nd half.
September 29th, 2007 at 2:13 pm
#30, it was a Ticketmaster server issue - which is ridiculous because they can handle big concert tix going on sale. On another site they had the UK ticket office email address posted. I’ll see if I can find that for you.
September 29th, 2007 at 2:15 pm
Relax UK defender bashers. Today will be good day to develop some depth on “D” with lil’ used underclassmen. If you think the defense will kill us so badly, thank the Lord that we are not going through NC State’s defensive problems. Addition by subtraction you knee jerkers. I’m Bubba and I approve this message.
September 29th, 2007 at 2:48 pm
The Lee Todd train goes 90mph. That’s just funny.
September 29th, 2007 at 2:50 pm
Somebody please euthanize
Lones Seiber and put him and
UK fans out of their misery.
September 29th, 2007 at 2:53 pm
#37 get a life. He’s a soph kicker. Give him a break. Sure I’d like to have a better kicker bit remember that he’s onl 19
September 29th, 2007 at 2:54 pm
Man, how good is Miss.St? Giving S Carolina all they want.
September 29th, 2007 at 2:57 pm
#39 sc isnt very good and miss st. is solid. we should beat sc by 10-20 next week.
September 29th, 2007 at 3:03 pm
#40, sc beat Georia on the road and played LSU pretty tough at LSU.
September 29th, 2007 at 3:11 pm
dammit, andre’s streak came to an end!
September 29th, 2007 at 3:12 pm
what was the total number of passes without an interception?
September 29th, 2007 at 3:18 pm
option on 4th down. Do they have a death wish?
September 29th, 2007 at 3:19 pm
43) 325
September 29th, 2007 at 3:19 pm
The option on 4th and 1 worked this time.
September 29th, 2007 at 3:20 pm
38) I agree that was a bit much, but for a scholly kicker, Seiber just doesn’t have it. So inconsistent and he missed that last one by about 15 yards wide… that’s awful
September 29th, 2007 at 3:31 pm
ukcatfan88, ticket office email address: uktickets@lsv.uky.edu
I know it doesnt help much, but you might as well vent!
September 29th, 2007 at 3:34 pm
Hey, thanks. I’m gonna bust someone a new one.
September 29th, 2007 at 4:25 pm
Locke will eventually be one of the top running backs of all time for Kentucky. He has world class speed. Will get plenty of playing time next year. Kentucky will need a good quarterback next year to continue their winning.
September 29th, 2007 at 4:40 pm
#30, go to the ticket office outside of the stadium or scalp some tickets — i heard people just before kickoff selling tix for 15$. anyway props to the cats for covering the spread — btw we were the second highest spread in the country today tied with oklahoma . lsu (33pt favs) and oklahoma didn’t cover. perhaps vegas loves (or hates) that cats as well.
September 29th, 2007 at 4:40 pm
btw 51 was me
September 29th, 2007 at 4:41 pm
agree with gotiiiiii, s.car. is a pretender…msu blew the entire game
September 29th, 2007 at 5:05 pm
wow howabout colorado beating oklahoma last second
September 29th, 2007 at 5:34 pm
Prediction: UK 45, FAU 17
September 29th, 2007 at 5:35 pm
Anyone have extra BBM tickets they would be interested in selling? WOuld be willing to pay for tix. Please email me at: andrewngrimes@gmail.com
September 29th, 2007 at 5:40 pm
If you want to know the score all you have to do is ask Kige Ramsey.
September 29th, 2007 at 5:47 pm
i hate football.damit
September 29th, 2007 at 5:58 pm
Kentucky was just the better football team today. And Kentucky played better than FAU. FAU is a good team but not as good as Kentucky. I’m Kige Ramsey for youtube sports.
September 29th, 2007 at 6:48 pm
Prepare for wisecrackin’ press conferences featuring the OBC. Over/Under on the number of times he says, “It’s ’still’ Kentucky….” Kenneth Starr, Bin-Laden, Limbaugh, and SPURRIER. That’s pretty much my A’hole List these days. Whoooo pig soooey, GO CATS!

***************Sensitive-Classified Information****************
Many years back, the best scientists from Arkansas(seriuosly, Arkansas) were secretly assembled to create a sentient artificial life form, a.k.a cyborg, to be assimilated into enemy institutions for various covert ops. Their creation: K.I.G.E(Khromozome Impaired Gelatenous Entity). Note, the spelling of the acronym has Ozarkian creative license for sure. Anyhow, we inserted this cyborg into a community base that would interact readily with his slack jawed communication systems, eastern Kentucky baby. The true test was to upload propoganda into the internet via YouTube.com targeting the most knowedgeable and passionate fan base the world has come to know, Big Blue Nation. His widespread success and fandom has proved effectual and will be reproduced to covert missions abroad. God’s speed K.I.G.E(seriously as if a real person would have a name like that given at birth)!
September 29th, 2007 at 8:24 pm
The K.I.G.E broke rank and went to Western. Strange to lose a cyborg there, Bubba. Just one request from this simple farmer. It’s getting a little dry around. And you know it’s time to recall a cyborg when it consumes weed at a rate to top the national debt.
September 29th, 2007 at 9:33 pm
I’m going to say 45-17 Cats, Woodson will throw for five, and we get a def. touchdown, possibly from MJ, but this is all just a guess. Let’s see how it works out.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:00 pm
Noted, farmer…..and what might your cash crop be my friend?
September 30th, 2007 at 8:19 pm
Lately its been deer browse and cover for opossum. Like a health spa for opossum.
September 30th, 2007 at 8:29 pm
Whoa there partner. All that technical jargon is over my head. I usually have a cabinet of folks breaking down the possum market and it’s implications on the domestic gun lobby.
Have you hugged Bill Keightley lately?
