As we mentioned the other day, there’s no time to let your Cancun buzz wear down with another potentially huge Cats sports weekend in the cards. When Kentucky beats Tennessee on Saturday night, the party will just be getting started - especially if you’re in Louisville. John Calipari’s squad will hold an open practice at Freedom Hall Sunday evening at 5:30 in preparation for Monday’s game with UNC-Asheville. The gates will open up at 4:30.
But, the excitement doesn’t end there because on Monday night, the Greater Louisville Chapter of the UK Alumni Association are hosting a massive pep rally at the Kentucky Expo Center from 5-7. As it did last year, the pep rally will also welcome the UK band, dance team and cheerleaders, as well as face painting and games for your kids (or interns). The first 1,000 fans will receive a free poster and door prizes will be given away throughout the entire event. Also, there is a bar. Not that that matters, right?
UK Alumni Association members and their children under 12 get in free and it’s only $5 for everyone else. Last year’s event drew around 3,000 people and, with Coach Cal mentioning a possible three-game series in Louisville, let’s hope another strong crowd shows up this year.
Go Cats.

I used to be in the Dayton Alumni Association but it was like a cult. You had to participate in all of the extra functions. I just want my damn basketball tickets!

I’ll be in Freedom Hall in Loserville Sunday and Monday! Let’s fill that place up Big Blue Nation.

God, I love the dance team. I want to send that girl on the left my credit card and all the money I have in the bank.
Is that wrong?

7. They must love to see you walk in the strip club. All of your money to a 6, maybe a 7? Really?

#8 agree. The girl on the left is very “girl next door.” However the girl on the right is no where close to to a 6 or 7. I’d say 8.5-9.5.
November 27th, 2009 at 4:50 pm
Yes - girl on right is much better - agree with the 8-9 rating. The one on the left made the squad just to pad the egos of the attractive members of the team.
November 27th, 2009 at 4:52 pm
Girl on the right actually reminds me of Starbuck from the recent BSG.
November 27th, 2009 at 4:54 pm
I only chose the one on the left because I figure everyone will immediately gravitate toward the one on the right (as in A Beautiful Mind). I agree, though, Big Daddy, with your assessments.
#8: You must be a very literal person. I was merely making a point.
But back to what’s important. We have this situation with Kiffin “downgrading” his tweet as outlined on this site, and if I rightly recall, didn’t this site report earlier in the week that there was some mention of Kiffin saying the team was going to wear “25th anniversary uniforms,” but then that was retracted? You gotta love this guy…he just keeps making these little statements, then backin’ off of them…
November 27th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
Definitely, the girl on the left. Cuter face, nicer curves.

I hope we do a three game series in Louisville, because that would really get under the skin of the filthy cards and their stinking filthy low rent fans.
