#12-Pearl has coached at a BCS school for only 4 years. His first recruiting class are now seniors. UWM and D2 S. Indiana don’t really produce NBA talent year in and year out….sheez. It’s not like the guy’s been around forever.

It utterly baffles me how a basketball recruit chooses UT over UK. Thatd be like a football recruit choosing us over UT…Makes no sense whatsoever.
That really sucks, I was really hoping to see this kid in blue. But I’ll settle for watching Orton slamma jamma in his face over the next few years.

Isnt that painting on the rock a violation? Well, I hope Mr. Harris has fun being no better than 2nd best in the SEC and two ass whoopings from the big blue. I dont get it, he said he wanted to go to winning program with tradition…but UT? They had their moments in the 70s and some good years under Pearl…but UT will never contend for a national championship. Even when they were expected to the final four they flopped. I wanted Harris, but I’ve said on here numerous times I’d rather have Jones or Leslie…Jones can handle the ball like a pg and Leslie is really athletic. If Jones stays close to home and Leslie as well, then I dont know what they are gonna do. They have to get some big men.

I dont really get how he fits in there though. He’s not a thug. And notice they went ahead and put a head band on him. Gay. And I agree, not like UT has a great history of putting players in the NBA. As compared to UK who has put 90…and thats only drafted.

Man, who in their right mind would choose to play for that nut case Pearl and choose UT over playing for Calipari and UK??? This is MEN”S basketball Tobias…not Women’s!! That being said…this totally blows. We had better clean up in the Spring. UT is the last place I would have thought Tobias would choose. I really hate Pearl and I have always hated Tennessee. And who would wear that nasty orange??!! It’s not that orange you can sit with…it’s that nasty puke orange…that inside of a pumpkin orange…and I don’t like Pumpkins! lol

Which of the (basket)Vols are thugs? Just curious? Because when I’ve talked to them, they’ve been nice. And when the visited the Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, the kids smiled. So just curious. Boogie also resents your headband comment.

guys, c’mon, don’t trash a kid for wanting to go to UT. there’s plenty talent out there, we’ll be fine. I know it’s hard to imagine but to a 17 year old kid Tennesee has about the same kind of tradition in basketball that we do, they’ve only been paying attention for about the last 5 or six years.

Guys, if we have learned anything after the last 5-7 years of recruiting its that
the kids don’t care about a schools history. The coach matters and we will be fine.
Every recruit is not dying to come here. That is normal. We are going to get some
good players. Don’t sweat it. We don’t have Billy or Tubby so recruiting is nothing
to worry about.
