Vitale says we are wacko fans and should be ashamed of what we did to such a great coach in Tubby. There’s not a chance in hell we’d be rated #15 preseason by Dicky V if Tubby’s still here. Therefore, Dicky V, we bettered ourselves by getting a new coach.

Yeah, Dickie V always lists the big-name programs somewhere and gives them props in some way. He kisses ass to all the big time schools including us. He was criticizing our opinions of Tubby and now he gives credit to BCG. WTF?? I like Dickie V’s enthusiasm, i really do, but have never been one to take into account his actual opinion. Jay Bilas holds alot more wieght IMO

Personally, I’d love to see Vitale get booed so raucously every time he’s near UK fans that he decides he doesn’t want to do our games anymore. I’d love it even more if he tried to pressure ESPN to avoid our games, and they told him to suck it. Not that I ever expect ESPN to send him packing, but I’d be interested to see the battle of wills between their allegience to Vitale and their interest in televising one of the most popular teams in the country.
Ideally, he would be told to suck it, and disappear from the face of the earth. Regardless of his previous rants about UK or the fans, I simply can’t stand him as an announcer and I’m embarrassed that he’s considered an “expert” on college basketball.

Vitale is a total hypocrite, he talks about being a “basketball junkie” but us REAL basketball junkies just wanted a change to get some life back in the program and he badmouths the fans for being unrealistic. We are exactly the type of fans that Dick claims to love.

Being stuck here in the heart of Tobacco Road, not even the Duke faithful can believe that they are 12th in the nation pre-season. Of course, the Tar Heels believe they have the title already being engraved for 2007-2008. Too funny. There is no program that has tricked off more talent more consistently than UNC, save Kansas. We all know that there is no link between those two programs in that regard don’t we?

That creep needs to be booed big time whenever he shows his ugly face at Rupp or anywhere in KY. I lost all respect for him, what little I had, with his comments. Boo and keep booing. I am a minister and what he said is both unforgetable and unforgiveable.

I just heard on the Missouri-Ill game that Zook is the best recruiter in the united States including Donovan. Duh? And they just lost to Missouri with all those great players that he kept any other school from getting.
