(Yeah, Beisner already posted this video back in June. I don’t care. I needed to hear Autotuned Jim Mora.)
Kentucky upped their defensive effort through most of the game, holding Clarion to 15-63 FG (23.8%) and forcing 23 Clarion turnovers. Of course, it helps when the Wildcats are completely faster, stronger and taller — really, Clarion’s tallest player is 6′ 8″. There wasn’t much of a doubt that Kentucky would dominate Coach Cal’s alma mater.
Daniel Orton left the game in the first half with an injury. In the second half, UK announced that Daniel has chest soreness and will be day-to-day.
Kentucky wins this not-a-game 117-52. Best practice of the year, guys. Next time it counts.

Nice job Cats! Finally, a fun game. Been what…2 years since we’ve had this much fun?
November 6th, 2009 at 9:14 pm
WOW!!! That’s all I can say!! Allright guys, I gave a shout out on the call in show to KSR, we need to get that started. Everytime you call in give a KSR shout out!! Wouldn’t it be great if half the callers did that.

Wow that was like 1995…..Those guys are Tough Enough!

117-52… sounds like a Lakers-Grizzlies game more than a college basketball matchup.
And since you did post my favorite autotune of all time(with “smoking lettuce” a close second) let me just end on pleasant note:
In my opinion that sucked, ah, ah, fubofubo was a disGRACEful performance fubofubo ah ah, what’s that? ah, ah, PLAYOFFS?!
Press Hop is so much win.

Great game! They are very much improved from last game. I hope Daniel Orton’s injury is minor. When Wall and Bledsoe are on the floor together, there is NO way to stop them both!

Is there a link to the radio broadcast?
November 6th, 2009 at 9:22 pm
5 ) Yeah, one thing people should continue to keep in mind is that despite how well the team played tonight, in neither exhibition has our team been at full strength. Heck, in the first game Orton was still only around 85% and Wall didn’t play; tonight Bledsoe sat out, Orton went out, and we scored 120 anyway. I think people will be shocked at how good we are once we get everyone on the court at the same time, no less on the same page.
November 6th, 2009 at 9:25 pm
wow, much better!! And it’s only going to get much better. Wall plays a bit out of control at times, by that guy is the real deal, and if Patterson is going to hit 3’s……….game over!
November 6th, 2009 at 9:39 pm
favorite moment of the night was where that clarion kid just froze on his way for a layup when he saw Wall waiting to pounce hahahahaha. awesome.
seriously, im jizzing myself just thinking about Wall/Bledsoe running this offense. holy ish.
November 6th, 2009 at 10:06 pm
9) I popped bigger for that kid totally s***ing himself thinking Wall was going to swat that 10 rows deep than almost anything else tonight. It was an exhibition game, but when was the last time these guys SCARED someone like that?
Anyhoo, Patrick isn’t comfortable in this offense yet, that much is painfully clear. It’s looking like one of those situations where it may benefit the team to start him with his back to the basket a little and feed him a couple easy lay ins to start the game off here and there, just to get him going. Glad Orton is alright. I was afraid it was a separated shoulder at first.
Another thing that stood out to me tonight was Big Cuz. I think between these two exhibition games we’re already seeing what we heard about him in the off season. When he’s motivated and putting in the effort, I don’t think many SENIORS in the country could step him. When he’s just out there to fill a position, he’s alright.
Let’s be honest though, John was the story of this game. He looks so smooth running this offense, it’s sick. He’s making Harris look great, getting guys like Hood open looks, and abusing people in the lane at will. This was all without Bledsoe and Orton for the game. I swear, after Morehead when this team is at full strength it will be scary.

stop him*
November 6th, 2009 at 10:06 pm
from facebook:
“DeMarcus Cousins good game tonight fellas….we coming along …we cnt drink da poison ….go cats!!!! ………..btw STOP CALLIN ME CARL!!!!!
November 6th, 2009 at 10:22 pm
Yeah. Seriously, stop calling Demarcus Carl. I thought it would be one of those things that he just gave into eventually, but the guy a few rows behind me tonight that kept yelling it actually made Cousins turn around, glare at him, and swear that he was going to beat him to death. Remember guys, this is the guy who described himself as “mean as shit.” Mr. Cousins for me from now on.

November 7th, 2009 at 12:25 am
15…It was against a D2 team, I had fun with the game too but 96′?! Jesus dude, try not to be let down when we lose a couple.
November 7th, 2009 at 8:51 am
19- it did feel like the 96 team. Especially when we are most recently accustomed to the 2008-9 team.
