Rondo: Worth The Price Of Admission

by @ 11:20 am. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

I’m not sure I could name a NBA player who got more publicity over the summer (save the strangely fascinating Shaq vs.) than our former point man Rajon Rondo.  Watching this shot reminds me of his game winner against South Carolina in 2006, which goes to prove that despite the fact he struggles knocking down wide-open jumpers, you can always count on the Louisville product to hit really random, off-balanced shots of importance.

2- Are Louisville fans perpetually stoned? Those comments are ridiculous. I particularly like the one about Siva being better than Wall because he will be at UL for 4 years. I don’t even know what means. Wouldn’t the better player be the one that NBA teams are salivating over right now? I have not been a Louisville hater in the past because my father attended that university, but I am seeing the light. Forget UNC and UConn. I want UK to beat them, but I want UK to humiliate Louisville. I’m talking about making the players and fans cry type of humiliation.

Meanwhile Chuck Hayes had 14 pts (7-9 shooting) and 14 rebounds in a OT loss to the Lakers.

  6. timer Says:

Petino’s biggest mistake ever - at least in recruiting - was when he dissed Rondo in favor of Sebastian Telfair.
