The world’s slowest liveblogger continues to try to get in the good graces of the Big Blue faithful after telling us North Carolina was a better all-time program. He named John Wall his Player of the Year, gave us a sparkling #2 ranking in his preseason list, and has some splendid remarks about us in his SEC preview. Here they are, but you still don’t have to like him:
John Calipari was able to revamp the roster and re-energize the fans shortly after leaving Memphis for Kentucky, and now it’s time to watch him debut with an SEC title. Sure, there will be an adjustment period considering he’s implementing a new system and likely to start three freshmen next to Patrick Patterson and (presumably) Darius Miller. But the level of talent in the program is unmatched by anybody except maybe Kansas and Texas, and that’s why the Wildcats are an obvious choice to make the Final Four. The most talented of the talented bunch of players is John Wall, the freshman projected as the No. 1 pick of the 2010 NBA Draft. He’s like former Memphis point guard Derrick Rose in that he’s fast and explosive, but Wall is a more vocal leader with a more aggressive style. If you like him, he’s just as good as you think. If you’re skeptical, you won’t be for long, I promise.

Question, is it worth it to record the delayed broadcast in HD rather than the live broadcast on FSS??? Just wondering if anyone knew if HD cameras would be used??? Go CATS! Cat Calls at 5:30. Richie Farmer for GOVERNOR!

I just wanted to comment on Spikes of UF getting suspended for 1half of a football game. Urban runs a good football team and has a great player at LB with Spikes. But 1 half is a joke and Spikes is a thug. Our coach may not have the right play calling in the 4th quarter , but he runs a team with players who do the right thing on the field. UF might win the National title but they will do it with no class from top to bottom. I hope you lose and get embarrased doing it(doubt it though). Ass holes

2 - HDEvents (929 on Insight in Lexington) is broadcasting it live in HD tonight like the past two football games from what I understand. It isn’t listed on the on-screen guide, but http://www.sportsoninsight.com confirmed it.

Does anybody out there know of a link to watch the live broadcast online? Don’t think I’m likely to find it on the local channels in NYC.

8. Dish offers a sports pack that allows you to get all of the Fox Sports affiliates, including FS-South (Channel 420). You just have to upgrade your programming. I’m doing this and canceling at the end of the month (most games will be national by then).
