Cats didn’t get the worst of the NCAA’s wrath

by @ 2:00 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

When the NCAA issued their ruling on John Wall yesterday (no Morehead for you!), it went down as what might be perhaps the most underwhelming news in the history of UK news.  However, had UK landed another prospect that ended up at a different trendy Final Four pick, things could have been much worse.  Former Clyde recruit Deniz Kilicili got bent over and spanked by the NCAA yesterday to the tune of a 20-game suspension, due to him playing on a team with a professional Turkish basketball player….or something.  There really is no lessen to be learned from this except that the NCAA, despite all the hard work done by the Obama administration to improve global relations, still does not trust foreigners.  And, it’s better to associate with a former agent than someone who looks like this.

Go Cats.  Go USA.

Just sat down and marked all of the November games down on my desk calender. It’s kind of like getting your Xmas decorations out in anticipation of putting them on the tree. And oh yea,,,Suck It Tipton!

6- Sec and Big-10 officials love to protect the favorite. Speaking of which, when you have to punish 3 coaches and suspend an entire officiating crew, maybe there is something wrong with the officiating and fining the coaches for bringing it up isn’t the answer

  8. Josh Says:

Obama is improving relations with North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Russia, etc. Boy that sure is some hard work. Go Obama.

  9. adamb Says:

I don’t think that any team in college football has as much right to complain about officiating crews more than IU. This is absurd.

  10. UKSoCalCampus Says:

    9- Maybe Arkansas.

  11. MIDDAY Says:

where did Kilicili end up going?

  12. cobrecat Says:

That guy looked like a typical obama voter.
