I have been told by a decent source that Kentucky is in the process of trying to schedule an open practice for Freedom Hall over the next two weeks. The public would be invited, and the logistics are close to being worked out. The source is a fairly good one and I will let you know if I hear any more information.
If true, I absolutely LOVE THE IDEA. Being in Louisville, I want to see UK own the city…moves like this (which certainly are helped by UK’s desire to keep playing in Freedom Hall after the Cards move to the new arena), are brilliant.

Over on Cats Pause, an “insider” posted the actual details of this practice (Sunday, time listed as well), and added a tidbit about Wall.

Wall is getting suspended 3 games. The delay in the announcement is that UK if vigorously fighting it. Check Cats Pause under a poster named “appraiser” or something.

It hasn’t gone to enforement yet so I don’t see how there can be a ruling already. Last I heard it was still in the information gathering phase.

13 - there is no “final” ruling … that’s just what UK has been given advance warning of. Typically, these things go just like this, and the school is often given notice before the final ruling is handed down … somewhat of a negotiation takes place, though it rarely does any good.
