Bryan the Intern’s Picks to Click

by @ 10:00 am. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

1. Just how well do you know the rosters of the last 2 UK national champions?  Well, one of the KSR readers created a quiz for it.  I got 23 of 28.  Embarrassing.

2. More reason that hockey needs to be back on major television full-time.

3. Is there a stiffer group of pro athletes than golfers?  They are nearly all country club, rich for forever stiffs, who actually defend the sanctity of the game, which includes blocking out african americans for years (but we’ll ignore that).  Nonetheless, one of the “hipper” golfers is American Anthony Kim, all of 24 years old.  Well, Kim got crushed by his opponent at the recent President’s Cup for allegedly going out before the night of their match.  Oh, and I forgot to mention that Kim then came out and shot 6-under and slapped Australian Robert Allenby all over the course.  Reports are that Allenby was playing the round one club short, as his 7-iron was firmly planted in his booty-hole.

4. It’s no secret that Rush Limbaugh is one of my least favorite people on Earth.  And it honestly has nothing to do with politics, it more has to do with hate.  He is a hateful fat man.  If a Democrat saved a puppy from a burning building, Limbaugh would say that Democrats were contributing to the pet population being out of control.  BUT, BUT, BUT, he absolutely should be able to be an ownerof an NFL team.  First of all, he would be a minority owner, which means he has very little say on how the team is run.  Second, if he is crazy rich, then it is only American that he can buy what he wants.  Its called capitalism.  The NFL is trying to use its overwhelming power in sports, but what do you think he would do as owner?  Get rid of all his black players?  Only employ Republicans?  If that’s the case, then the team would tank and Limbaugh would lose lots of money, so that’s a negative for him.

5. You gotta play tot he whistle.  I think one high school team has learned that lesson.

hmmm already the vid had been removed…the man is watching you BTI!

  2. Thomas Beisner Says:

The best part of the supposed Limbaugh purchase of the Rams is hearing people refer to him as a “minority owner”. I love that.

  3. blueball96 Says:

but I am guessing that most golfers can spell “alledgly”…and don’t forget that Allenby called Kim to apologize. More garbage from BTI.

  4. booted Says:

^ are you a die hard Allenby fan? And good job on calling a out a spelling error, it made your point so much stronger.

Chump Season doesn’t start until November, so please steer clear of the site until then…

  5. RUPPS_rhetoric Says:

For the UK quiz the guy who made the Quiz spelled Nazr last name wrong. The quiz has it as Mohammad, although in real life its Mohammed… Come on man…get it right. But none the less a great quiz, I got 26-28. How do I get Jason Lathrem and Oliver Simmons, and not Masiello and Prickett. Oh well GO CATS!! Anyone going to Auburn this weekend? A group of us are on a charter bus from Louisville heading out tomorrow morning. Can’t wait to witness the beginning of the Morgan Newton era in person!!

  6. Big Blue KY Says:

    3) Who are you and why are you here??

  7. JMBlue Says:

That video is funny and sad at the same time. If Kim was partying, it makes Allenby’s whining even more sad. Hung over dude pimp slaps you. The “John Daly” comment was completely out of line. Solid post today BTI. I enjoyed the Evan Daniels live blog last night as well. That dude knows his stuff, but he is dead wrong about UNC.

  8. Big Blue KY Says:

BTW..I’m still not understanding why spelling errors are such a big deal…people type fast and make mistakes..I’m sure the person who misspelled a word does actually know how to spell….

  9. TrickyRick Says:

I agree 100% on Limbaugh, can’t stand his hate, even though I tend to be mostly aligned with him on the issues. Either way, for the NFL to decide that he can’t be a minority owner is wrong.

  10. Big Blue KY Says:

    7) I agree about BTI’s live blog last night…I enjoyed it also and thought BTI did a great job…

  11. Irwin R. Fletcher Says:

Not counting Mohammed, I only missed one… Saul Smith. Makes me happy to know that I’d forgotten about him.

  12. booted Says:

    I think I got a new goal in life…

Girl & Ice! This is on my Bucket List.

  13. BLAINE-MAN Says:

BTI, in the championship contest I got 24 of 28. Who the hell is Jason Lathrem…I think he’s a make believe player. By the way the quiz is wrong because it has the 96 & 97 team listed as champs. It was obviously the 96 & 98 team that actually were the champs.

  14. ukcats07 Says:

5, This proves BTI in fact made the quiz and not the “KSR Reader” he said. We know if there are spelling errors BTI wrote/made it.

  15. Dennis Says:

#9 So when Limbaugh said that this decision was “a plot to destroy Conservativism”, Do you agree?

  16. BLAINE-MAN Says:

P.S. BTI, Rush Limbaugh OWNS you. He basically picks out your clothes in the mornings and tells you what you can and can’t do. BlaDow!

  17. dhwildcats10 Says:

I think Limbaugh should be allowed to be a minority owner. I think it’s a little bit hypocritical to give convicts a second or third chance but not give Limbaugh one chance. I will agree with BTI in regards to Limbaugh. He’s just a blow hard and a radical like Keith Olbermann except on the opposite end of the political spectrum. Oh well, at the end of the day the NFL is a private organization and its owners can let in and keep out whoever the hell they want. BTW, the Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton commentary is beyond pathetic and they really need to shut the hell up. To me, those guys are on the same level as PETA. Anytime something controversial happens they have to come out and put in their two cents and go overboard.

  18. Tayshaun4me Says:

I was totally bummed that i couldn’t remember JamAAl with 2 “A’s” and Nazr was driving me crazy!!

  19. EyewearMan Says:

Love a quiz where the creator can not spell! Mohammed!!! Anywho, looking at that 98 roster of supposed Pitino Recruits, it is amazing to me that UK won the NCAA Championship! Tubby deserves so much more credit! Fans adamantly bash him, but I would say Pushing him out, and hiring Gillispie had to be the worst possible move by a University in a LONG time! We got the right coach now, but the last two years were worse than OTS entire tenure!

  20. booted Says:

Rush got punked and I love it! He does not deserve the right to have a “minority stake” in an NFL team. He burns that bridge everyday when he spews hatred on the air waves. The NFL is just like any other franchise, you get to pick and chose your owners.

  21. citycat Says:

So it is ok that a rapper who allegedly stabs a record executive with a five inch blade in the stomach to own an NBA team but Limbaugh cannot own a small stake in an NFL team?

  22. Laker Cat 18 Says:

    17. Well put. Sharpton and Jackson make the situation worse than it has to be. I honestly don’t care if Rush owns a team or not. The fact that Sharpton leads the charge for something as small as this is a bit ridiculous.

  23. Dennis Says:

    #21 Thats exactly right! hahaha

  24. JMBlue Says:

17 - Exactly. Sharpton and Jackson are the poster boys of Racism and Hate. But hey, its OK and, in fact, celebrated. I don’t care either way about Limbaugh, but I really hate hypocricy.

  25. TOMPAV83 Says:

NFL is a private organization so they can let in people as they see fit. Larry Flynt would not be allowed to be a minority owner. Maybe that’s a drastic comparison but Rush has made the NFL a talking point on numerous occasions(not a positive talking point), not just the McNabb incident. If he had any inkling that he would like to one day be involved he should have played by the rules.

  26. booted Says:

21…yes it is because the NBA franchise said so. They run the company, so they get to chose. But that also goes to show you where Rush stands on a totem pole when it comes to respect.

  27. nybrasky Says:

Not counting the fact that Mohammed was misspelled and it wouldn’t accept Masiello for some reason (loved that) I missed Lathrem & forgot Heshimu Evans somehow. Sorry, ‘Mu.

  28. Clandestine Says:

Most ppl that hate Limbaugh never listen to his show. Hating is easy and it goes both ways.

  29. UKSoCalCampus Says:

Limbaugh got dumped by his investment partners, the NFL didn’t ban him from owning a team.

  30. gossie21 Says:

26 of 28. Forgot that Prickett was on the 96 roster for the first 5 games. Forgot that Ryan Hogan existed.

  31. booted Says:

^ investment partners knew they were not getting in with him on board.

  32. jack Says:

i got 28 of 28 with 8 seconds to spare, liked to never got Masiello name spelled correctly…lol

  33. Arms of Delk Legs of McCarty Says:

I quit once I got to 24 - After I bested BTI, I just had no motivation.

  34. sm1tty07 Says:

Forgive me guys, i couldnt spell the most common name in the world. I was just trying to give you all a bit of a challenge. Dont Bash!

  35. njcat54 Says:

    26. you took the words right out of my mouth. A group of owners who are probably 98% republican have no interest in being associated with him. Speaks volumes…

  36. edge8236 Says:

It didn’t give me Masiello or both mohammads…i missed the rest though…felt bad

  37. Brandon21 Says:

I got 25/28. Missed Hogan, Masiello and, believe it or not, Saul Smith.

  38. edge8236 Says:

I have never heard of lathem…
