1. Here is what cnnsi.com thinks a 16-team playoff would look like at this point in the season. Wouldn’t this be so fun? But, I guess the rich people need to make more money.
2. I hate the state of West Virginia. Like that one guy hates Tennessee Orange. I rank it 53rd in my ranking of states, behind Puerto Rico, Guam, and North Korea. The people there are rude (in my opinion), and in general the stereotype that people in Kentucky get is actually what people in West Virginia ARE (i.e. less than classy). And then I see the redneck, roided up Owen Schmitt, and see what he did on Sunday, and my anger only increases. And I don’t even know if he is from West Virginia, but thats how I associate him.
3. Can you believe that it has been 20 years since a massive earthquake halted the World Series? And in a strange stroke of irony twist of fate (there you go grammar Nazis), it is very possible that we could have an all-California matchup in this years World Series if Anaheim and LA make it past the Yankees and Phillies/Rockies. Although the Yankees looked very, very good so far.
4. Congrats to the US for making the World Cup. Seriously.
5. Poor Binghamton. The Fightin’ Kornheisers head basketball coach has been banned by the NCAA from off campus recruiting for what I would guess would be off campus violations. Remember that Kelvin Sampson was given the same ban and it totally worked out GREAT for him at Indiana. And as far as on-campus recruiting, there were some football players that were OK in the intramural games, but nobody was quite at the level of Courtney Lee at WKU. So, I feel like it may be wise to bet AGAINST Binghamton for the next couple seasons.
6. This is the video that Matt did NOT want released. It comes from Beisner’s 22nd birthday party last week. I will let you guess who is who in the video, but what you don’t see is “somebody” speaking Spanish about UK basketball and then shots ring out. Let’s just say this feud is at a whole new level now.

Either BTI’s rant against WV is a poor attempt at humor or he is not very bright. Not only does PPat hail from WV, but Coach Cal claims WV roots.
