where SC qb is about to be stopped short and hurdles our guy for a 1st down.
You can’t have a QB want it more than you on that. We could of had another shot with 2 minutes left.

5.- Rhondo also wasnt in an offense that suited him to a T. Wall will be. I know what your saying though. Ive heard that his shooting isnt all that bad. But he is so great at driving, handling and finishing at the rim it seems like everyone wants to key in on that. We will see in exactly 1 week how good his shooting is. I would be surprised and kinda perplexed if we dont see him take some pull up jumpers at MM and atleast a couple treys.

That same Rondo that “couldn’t shoot” is one of the top point guards in the NBA today. His offense at UK required him to stand at the top of the key and pass to the wings a lot.

I’ve notived that everytime he throws one down one handed, it’s always with his left hand…but he shoots righty..Just a little different, but I can’t wait to watch him break some ankles this season.

As for those questioning his shooting, I hope they D up on him on the perimeter thinking he can not shoot. This gives him more space to “Dribble/Drive/Dish”.
Defenses will have to play off of him hoping for help just as if he was a JJ Reddick type shooter.

12, I remember reading something on him back before he even committed where he said he can use either hand. He said he can go to his left just as fast as he can going to his right. I remember that another reason I hoped we got him because if you have a pg that can go either way, gives you a huge advantage bc the defender really won’t know what to expect. And with him being as quick as he is…man I can’t wait for the season to start. I can’t wait to see what he does to Siva and Sosa. And I am looking for payback on Devon Downey as well…at least we have guards that can actually guard him this year.

Wall can’t shoot and the high school games I saw he had 5 plus turnovers every game, including over 10 in one game, as he forced the dribble trying to go through 3 defenders. That said his athletic ability is unreal and the 2 faults mentioned can be corrected. I did read that Wall is in the gym alot and shooting alot so maybe he gets it and is working at being a complete player. Check out a couple of nice articles I read on Wall at cbssportsline.com.
