I’m not one to get caught up in a war of words or battle of blogs. I respect everyone in the business and give credit where credit is due. Such as today, when Marcos Maggard broke some big time recruiting news on his website:
Hola amigos! Cómo es el clima en Kentucky Es hermoso aquí en México. UK gente expresar Marquis Teague visita Grande Azul Madness. La noticia de que es ideal para Kentucky baloncesto. Voy a celebrar en Carlos and Charlies. No se olvide de, gratis admisión con VerdadAzulKentucky.com meimbros. GO GATOS!
(via VerdadAzulKentucky.com)
It doesn’t take a Spanish major or aspiring standup comedian on a flight to Mexico to translate that news - Marquis Teague will be visiting Big Blue Madness. Marcos also says the weather is beautiful and the bar is doing great, but he is having a hard time getting used to using bottled water when peroxiding the locks. Well, gracias for the news Marcos and good luck in your future endeavors south of the border. Adios amigo!

This little hatred is getting a little childish. We all like you better Matt, just let him go…
September 30th, 2009 at 5:38 pm
#3 nice reference to the old “Perfect Patterson” music video…very old school, I like it.
It is childish, but so am I…so it works out well
September 30th, 2009 at 5:38 pm
#2-did you copy that off David Crowe’s paper?
September 30th, 2009 at 5:41 pm
#4 Fair enough! In that case, the twitter account proposed by #1 could yield some pretty good stuff

5) I had heard that too, but my source said Pitino backed out after he learned cornhole was a game

Marco Maggardo has a great ring to it. I think that might be Mexican slang for pompous douchebag.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:03 pm
Very creative way to borrow some news from MM.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:04 pm
So a guy with highlights in his hair walks into a comedy club in Mexico…
Stop me if you’ve heard this one already.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:07 pm
Absolutely great post, Drew!! LMAO
September 30th, 2009 at 6:10 pm
4) Matt, you will always be the Man!!!
September 30th, 2009 at 6:14 pm
MM has a few differant log-in names on KSR so that he can make it appear that not everyone thinks he is a douche. A desperate act from a desperate man.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:15 pm
^different
September 30th, 2009 at 6:25 pm
I think one of his log-in names is “Bryan the Intern.”
September 30th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
I asked this before, but I think it got lost in the fight about the cornhole game and if the guy was fat or big boned, so I’ll ask again.
I keep hearing Lebron James might be coming to BBM, but I was wondering how that could happen. He has a preseason game Fri 16 @ San Antonio @ 8:30pm and a preseason game Sat 17 @ Dallas @ 8:30.
I mean, are preseason games something these guys could miss? Just wondering.

Anyone like New Jersey PGs named Kyrie? Read all of this.

17. Star players skip out on pre-season games all the time. I remember trying to catch a Mavericks preseason game at Freedom Hall back when Mashburn and Kidd were on the team and neither played.
That doesn’t mean that LeBron will skip a preseason game to attend BBM. In fact I would be shocked if he did, but it is not outside the realm of possibilities.
We should probably check with comedy club owners down on the Mexican coast to be sure though. The ones riding scooters are the most reliable.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:42 pm
Oh ok, I didn’t know the guys could skip preseason games. Thanks for the info.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:50 pm
Doesn’t mean he will skip it though. And I doubt “wanting to attend BBM” is very high on the list of permissible reasons to skip a pre-season game.
September 30th, 2009 at 6:56 pm
Quick, someone contact Homeland Security to stop MM from crossing the border back into the USA.
September 30th, 2009 at 7:11 pm
Haha….Maggard is such a douche…….Viva le KSR!!
September 30th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
I think the proper scooter would be one like Shriners ride in parades. Should show off that big clown head quite well.
September 30th, 2009 at 7:33 pm
I thought Marc Maggard was in Mexico to do a donkey show.
September 30th, 2009 at 7:57 pm
21 my guess is when your name is Lebron you can damn near skip anything you’d want to skip and to be anywhere you want to be. That would be great if he would come to the Madest of all madness.
September 30th, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Hahahaha, Marc is so immature with his arguments. Love it. LOVE IT!!!
