Brooks talks Gators and Tide

by @ 3:40 pm. Filed under Blue Blooded Opinions

Rich Brooks was on the SEC teleconference today and, obviously displeased with his team’s performance Saturday against the Gators, mentioned the kicking game, the running game and quarterback Mike Hartline.  Brooks said that Hartline needed to step up up his game, but noted that everyone else around him does as well.  In terms of the runnig game, Brooks said the Cats won’t “run the ball down Alabama’s throat”, but that the Cats “have to have a semblence of a running game.

On the defensive side of the ball, Brooks said it would take a total team effort to slow down Alabama’s running game, which will mean the defensive backs will have to step up against the Tide’s physical receivers.  On the UK corners, Brooks said “They aren’t the most physical guys in the world”.

When asked about how the kickoff issues were coming, Coach said the kickoffs must get more air under them and travel farther.  Then, he offered up one of his Brooksisms with “Florida kicked our fanny on the kickoff”.  Well said, Coach.

The frosted one posted this a while ago:

I just got finished driving from Glasgow to Atlanta only to find a lot of emails asking why I’m working at a comedy club in Mexico.

Matt Jones’ infatuation with what I do seems to know zero bounds, which is sort of creepy to me. However, it would be nice if he’d get stuff right.

I am OPENING a comedy club of my own in Playa Del Carmen, not working at some random bar. Since Matt seems so curious, I also own an advertising company and 3 daycares I bought for my sister.

It’s sort of sad to me that Matt Jones was picked on so much growing up that he needs to take shots at UK players and recruits. I wonder how much more superior he feels after doing those things. I could care less what crap he spews about me…. but I will never be able to comprehend why he goes after KIDS the way he does.

For someone who has failed at every radio/tv show attempt he’s ever tried, it’s funny for him to take shots at people who are successful at stuff they do. Heck, he got fired from his radio shows even when he worked FOR FREE. How bad do you have to stink to get fired from a job you volunteer from?

Anyway, I also laugh that his other butt buddy posted his big recruit blog of the day and left out the only real news of the day…… M. Teague will be attending Big Blue Madness.

I’m sure now Rumbutt will get a text saying that his sources just told him Teague is good to go for Big Blue Madness…. just like the Payne info he “broke” an hour after I posted it…..lol

Anyway, if I’m such a non factor, Jones, why do you use my name and my info every day on your blog. Thought so….
