Today Kentucky is scheduled to have a visitor that could be a difference maker in the 2010 recruiting class. DE Derrick Bryant of Columbus, Ohio will be on campus today and the three star DE is very interested in the Cats. Bryant is in the new mode of quick DEs and doesnt want to play in the Big Ten, even though that is his home territory. He is looking at Kentucky, Oregon, UCLA and North Carolina, and Kentucky has been seen as a potential favorite due to its close proximity to his home. Today’s visit may be the most high profile on-campus visit taken to this point and could produce some good momentum going forward.

Good move to get out of town. You wouldn’t want to play for Overrated State University.

I have family in Newark and Columbus Ohio areas. My Uncle told me this kid can play. I have not seen him play just passing along what I was told.

Mr. Bryant we would love to have you @ KY. Our FOOTBALL program is on the rise and you would make a big impact. If you would like to play football in the “best” Conference in the Country then come on down to Lexington and get on board with the soon to be best Team in the Conference!!! GO CATS!!!!
