I am a complete and utter idiot. My basketball analysis is roughly equivalent to that of a senilic monkey. I do not deserve to be writing on this blog or even living in this great state. I am a waste of oxygen for the rest of the planet.
That feels better. I am sitting here overwhelmed with guilt with the number of times I have been critical of the three players who essentially won the game for the Cats on Sunday. Those are, in no particular order, Patrick Sparks, Bobby Perry and Sheray Thomas. I have repeatedly said that none of the three were worthy of a scholarship at Kentucky. I have said that Sparks would be about the 25th best player in my church league and that there were not two worse forwards in the country than Sheray and Bobby. I was wrong.
The offense runs better with Patrick handling the ball. I would have bet my life that this would not be the case, but the last few games have clarified it. Of course, he is going to make some turnovers due to not being overly athletic, but the overall production of the offense is greatly improved due to the simple fact that he does not simply pound the ball. As for Sheray and Bobby, both were active yesterday, and both shot the ball extremely well. Now, I don’t think we should necessarily build our offense around the Sheray transition 18 1/2 footer, but I’m glad he knocked it down. As for myself, I am still a moron.
