Kyrie Irving has confirmed via text that the UK staff’s in home visit has been moved up to today. UK is viewed by many national experts as a distant third to Indiana and Duke in the race for Irving, making tonight’s in home visit a massive opportunity for the Cats to shorten the distance between them and his favorites. UK should also be making an effort to bring Irving in for an official visit at some point during the coming months.
If the rest of UK’s schedule remains the same, Doron Lamb will also be receiving a visit from the staff. Being that Irving is getting a day visit from the Cats, one could assume that Lamb’s visit might occur tonight. Lamb has long been close with Kentucky, with the consensus being that Kentucky is the favorite, which makes tonight important in terms of possibly sealing the deal with Lamb or at least making sure that they continue their reign at the top spot for his services.
Josh Selby received a visit from Kansas yesterday and his mother, according to TheShiver.com, left the possibility of Selby making an unofficial visit to “Late Night in the Phog” open. Brandon Knight also plans on being in attendance at Kansas’ version of Midnight Madness, so the game plan seems to be that Kansas will play Selby and Knight off of one another in an effort to receive a commitment from one of them. Selby still continues to say that his decision will not come until the spring, though.

Hey Dustin, in your opinion, whose a better fit for UK Knight or Selby?

Might be a dumb question, but who is actually doing the visiting for UK? I know Coach Cal
seems to be quite busy with book signings right now.

Calipari met with Tobias Harris last night.

On an unrelated front. Imagine the kids we missed on because Gillispie came walking through that door with those blood shot eyes, smirk, and that cloud of Drakkar to mask the 90 Proof liquid lunches? What was his pitch? I’ll play you at “quarters”, I win you sign….
Selby and Bledsoe would be an equally dynamic back court as the eminent departure Wall will create this time next year. C’mon Doron!

on a side note, does anyone know if john wall has been cleared by the NCCA clearing house?

The inplication is that he has. UK stands by their policy of not making those announcement regarding their student athletes. Had Wall(Bledsoe or Cousins for that matter) not been passed by the NCAA Clearing House, then a release would have been made. He’s good bruh!

It irks the hell out of me that Knight…and now apparently Selby…are attending the Kansas event and not Big Blue Madness…Grrrrrrr…is ANYONE coming to OUR event? Bill Self and Kansas are rising rapidly towards the upper echelon of my sh*t list…which of course includes Pitino, Roy Williams, Pearl, Donovan, etcetera…

I’m happy to be in the “Top 2″ along with KU with so many studs… they can’t take ‘em all!
