Our favorite UK fan Ashley Judd did an interview with the Austin Texas newspaper in which she made her first comment about Billy Clyde and the UK program since the new coach took over.
Afterward, I asked her about her beloved Kentucky Wildcat basketball team. When I asked if she liked her new coach, ex-Aggie Billy Gillispie, she smiled, raised an eyebrow and said, “I like Patrick Patterson. That’s an auspicious start.” The Hollywood actress keeps up with all things Kentucky and knew that Gillispie had landed the top power forward recruit to go with shooting guard Alex Legion from Oak Hill Academy
Interesting comments….but knowing about Patterson and Legion makes me think that deep down, Ashley must be a Kentucky Sports Radio fan……Ashley, if you are reading this, write me at matt.jones@kentuckysportsradio.com…..it would seriously make my life….and I promise not to try and take you from Dario…..but I cant promise what Hubby will do

Seems to me people want to take her comments negatively. I don’t think that is what she means. I think she doesn’t really know much about BG yet and was a Tubby fan. She’ll warm up to him when we start playing, like everybody else who isn’t on the bandwagon yet.

In the late 90’s I attended Tubby basketball camp for kids and Ashley Judd made a guest appearance, one of my favorite memories…maybe Billy G could get her to be a guest speaker at the Elite camp??

Well come on fellas…I don’t think the university would allow us to use strippers to draw in the young men. She (Ashley) is the most attractive star we have out of UK who is not an athlete (she she is a good actress, which most are not these days). So looks she has..and talent..yeah…age..c;mon…I’m older…lol and I think her beauty is ageless…lol (yeah I like her too matt)

as I do think that Ashley Judd is a hot piece, remember the UK hockey calendars?, it would be nice to get a new hot UK celebrity fan on the sidelines, just to take the spot for Ashley when she is too old to be truly hot..it’s like recruiting, you have to look ahead to stay ahead..we need someone that the TV cameras will navigate to just like they do with Ashley now..any suggestions…maybe former Miss America Tara Conner..I don’t know if she is a UK fan but she is definately HOT!!

Living in Williamson County in Tennessee I am always on the lookout for Ashley. I did see her big sister(no pun intended)one time in Target and she was looking a little rough. Ashley is hot, intelligent and a good representative for UK period. She is one of the few movie stars I actually care to hear speak outside of the movie business.

There’s also Farrah Fath– she’s from Lexington & was on Days of Our Lives for a few years. She’s only in her early-mid 20s. And, Laura Bell Bundy– she’s the lead in the Broadway musical “Legally Blond”. BUT– most people wouldn’t recognize any of these people like they know Judd. Could just be another pretty face in a photo. We need star power! Like recruiting, we need 4 & 5 star actresses, not 1 & 2 star…

#48..yeah she grew up pretty close from where I’m originally from..Adair Co. did have a Ms. KY a few years ago, Lizzie Arnold..she was very hot and a nice girl..she dated Nick Lachey for a little bit, but she is not famous enough by any means to be the next Ashley Judd..I don’t know how I turned this into a thread about KY girls but I did.

Molly is from Murray. I went to HS w/ her (she’s a couple years older). She was cute enough back then, but boy did she grow into herself - stunning! Unfortunately for all of us, she went to Vandy. Therefore I doubt she’d give any love to the UK hockey team… I’ll have some of my friends, who are actually friends w/ her (I’m not), see how she responds.
