And the media says Kentucky fans are bad. What are some of these other fan bases? At least we have a reason to expect winning teams. Kansas doesn’t know how to cope with prosperiety because they think they are SO good that they can run off arguably the best shooter in the class amd still win.
Cal will be a lightning rod for other coaches and the media.

#13 No explaining to do. You were wrong about what you said. Cal didn’t
open up a scholorship just in case X might come to UK. Cal would have
sent Galloway and Pilgrim packing regardless. Period, end of story.
Cal hasn’t been playing anything “just in case” X changed his mind. Carl
did contact Cal but that wasn’t Cal’s reason for sending Pilgrim packing.
Cal has other reasons for sending Pilgrim packing. Cal didn’t open up
a scholorship “just in case” for X. He can’t predict what X will do.
X might even end up staying at KU.
It just so happens to work out that way. That doesn’t make you right.
You were wrong with what you said the other day, period.

#13 but if you want to push the issue. I said on here a few days ago
that there were some growing legs on the X rumors. and that what made
the rumors strong wasn’t anything Calipari was doing but the fact that
the other side (Henry’s) had contacted the UK staff.
Well, guess what you found out today if you were listening to the
Carl H interview? That Cal did not contact the Henry’s that Carl
was the one who contacted Calipari.
Just like I said a few days ago. I guess I just got lucky again.

Man this is all a trip. This is what happens when kids are put in a bad position by their parents. When the kid is the one that has to live with the end result, you can’t make their decisions for them. That is all this boils down to. He never wanted to go to Kansas to start with, he wants to play for Cal bottom line.

Save has no ’splainin to do . The postulations that Pilgrim factors into the scenario at all seem to be without merit on the surface. Look, it seems as plain as day to me that Meeks didn’t pull out (so she said) and therefore X now has renewed interest in the Cats. Why? Again, simple answer. UK is the antithesis of KU. Cool coach. Fun system. Plenty of room for X.
Why do so many of you seem to enjoy trying to bust Save’s ballzookas? The guy just brings what he has…..like it or not, it usually leads to a fun discussion or, even better, a factual development.
